Stay away from San Juan. Very dirty city - piles of burning garbage all over sidewalks downtown. traffic is crazy. We've driven in many countries and hadn't experienced the rudeness and utter disregard for others on road.

Here are a few of the best all-inclusive resorts in Costa Rica:

  • The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa is located on the stunning Playa Conchal, one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. The resort offers a variety of room types, including oceanfront villas with private pools. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including golf, tennis, swimming, and snorkeling. There are also several restaurants and bars on site, as well as a world-class spa.
  • The Secrets Papagayo Resort and Spa is located on the secluded Papagayo Peninsula. The resort offers a variety of room types, including swim-out suites and overwater bungalows. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and sailing. There are also several restaurants and bars on site, as well as a world-class spa.
  • The RIU Palace Costa Rica is located on the beautiful Playa Matapalo. The resort offers a variety of room types, including oceanfront suites with private balconies. Availability for March 15-23rd

I checked the availability of these three resorts for your desired dates, March 15-23rd, and they all have availability. However, prices may vary depending on the type of room you choose and the time of year you are traveling.

I recommend booking your resort as soon as possible to secure the best price and availability. You can book online or through a travel agent.
