Question:
Humans say...
Sarah
Yes! I’ve done 2 and they are the best!
Loretta
Sarah Jayne Gage any to Morocco
Andy
Sarah Jayne Gage for Morocco I used a Travel Talk co. They’re a very reputable co. that I’ve used for four other destinations at very good prices. Definitely go visit Morocco or Turkey, it’s an amazing place. Highly recommended!
Georgie
Also did 2 trips with them—Ecuador-Galapagos and Kenya-Tanzania safari
Great local guides, safe, and good service.
Chelsey
*following this post. I have also been considering G adventures
Diane
I have done a couple and my daughter has done at least 4. Never had anything but great experience!
Loretta
Diane any in Morocco
Diane
No Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand. India, South Africa. Also have used Tucan for Turkey to Egypt and South America. They have been great as well
Melissa
I did Vietnam Cambodia and Thailand with gadventures with a friend that swears by them and they were amazing. I’m not usually a very tour orientated traveller, but I loved them and I’d take another tour with them in a heartbeat
Loretta
Melissa ya we usually venture off on our but thought we would try this for a

Yep, they're super relaxed that way. LOTS of free time. Our guide in Italy would call a meeting and say this is where we are, this is the highlights, this is when we're leaving, now go away! If you wanted to hang with the group you could, and if not you didn't have to.
Maryse
I’ve done 3, just got back from their highlights of Morocco tour. It was incredible. So many different places, but I have to say I loved the few days in the desert.
Jauna
I took a mainland Ecuador tour with them a couple of years ago. The tour guide was quite but she showed us places to go and eat when we had down time. The people in the tour fought a lot. Lol. I have done 4 tours with intrepid and love them.
Traci
My mom and aunt did a tour with them in June and raved about them! I also have a friend who is a single traveller and G adventures is the only way she goes!
Audrey
I sell G quite regularly and never anything but great feedback from my clients.
Lamya
I would love to book your G Adventure tour. I’ve been in the business for 20 years.
Here’s my contact info.
Darrick
I have done 3 tours with them. China, Cambodia and Thailand. Was happy with all but the Thailand one just didn’t feel the guide was great but the China and Cambodia tours were fantastic
Allison
Yep. Belize, Costa Rica, Everest Base Camp, Italy. Nothing but good things to say.
Jennifer
Yes twice once through Egypt and the other overland through Africa. Pretty good and overall affordable 2 tours are enough for me prefer to not go with such a large group was kinda disappointed with G for when we did Africa although the itinerary was great and logistically it worked well
Kendra
We just did Peru in July with G Adventures...Ah-mazing is all that needs to be said. All you need to do is show up as every detail is taken care of.
Michelle
5 times
Heather
I’ve travelled with G 10 times on 4 continents and have generally always had excellent experiences. I like how they work closely with local tour guides, among other things.
Loretta
Heather have you done any Morocco tours
Heather
Loretta, not yet, unfortunately.
Kim
Ive gpne maybe 5 or 6 timea.with g adventures. Always small groups no more.than 10 usually. They have good teansport to and from aiports and hotels and buses. Almost Always a local guide with great english. They usually are cheaper than other tours with more amenities. Highly recommend
Leanne
I’m booking one next year! Where are you going?
Loretta
Leanne we are looking at Morocco and you?
Karen
We hiked the Inca trail in Peru with a local company that took great care of the porters (warm clothing, hiking boots) smaller private group, great meals and locally and socially responsible, lots of personal attention from our guide, at a cost less then G adventures. I watched the G adventure tours and saw their porters doing the hike in bare feet without warm clothes and I was happy we made the choice we made. I also recall meeting one of the G adventure guests and she complained to me that her guide still didn't know their names after 2 days ...she saw how much time our guide was spending talking to us about local folklore and fauna. My viewpoint is strictly as an outside observer, but I saw enough that didn't impress me that I wouldn't book with them.
Loretta
Karen always appreciate the feedback
Lyn
Karen do you remember who you booked with? Sounds like a great company. Thanks
Shelley
Karen , who did you use in Peru? There are so many tour companies and it gets confusing after a while.....
Peggy
Yes, I would also like to know who you used and how you booked it.
Ethel
We have also had negative impressions of G tours from the outside. Drunken parties, walking in no go areas in Galapagos, inappropriate behavior. Intrepid travel. Natural habitat and National Geo are the best but the last 2 are pricey.
Charlen
yes...6x now...they are great!
Loretta
Charlen have you done any Morocco tours?
Jason
yes did their Volcano Trail tour through central america about 6,7 years ago. small group, good leader, good experience though it skewed really young.
Shelley
Yes. Went to Costa Rica. They were really good.
Helen
Yes! Best trips of my life. India and China
Bev
Yes to Peru they where amazing
Justin
I used one in Southern Africa, it was alright. Too much packing and moving, but it may have just been the tour we did.
Eric
I don't usually do tours, but I have seen them in many countries I have travelled to. Among the far reaching your companies, G-Adventures always comes out most recommended for the price. There is obviously more luxury tours available if your shell out, but up against the other major small group adventure travel companies, I'd do a G tour above others.
Dave
Vietnam and they were very good
Andrew
Dave what was the average age of people on your tour?
Feather
My friend was a guide in Guatemala and loved every minute
Joanne
I believe there are age restrictions on their tours.
Melissa
Joanne M Mokry there are different tour styles the only one with an age restriction is the “yolo” style i believe it’s 39 and under? Ish
Jane
I have.
Tina
I did Cuba with them and it was a very good experience. I would happily travel with them again. The tours are less luxurious yet give you a feel for the people and the country.
Jennifer
Jess
Becky
We have done many with them and loved them. Last ones we did was the classic tour through Bali and Lombok.
Stacie
I did an African safari with them. They were awesome. A classic tour has no age limit
Stacey
Was not impressed. Galapagos- had a guide put wildlife in danger, then proceeded to make advances at the female travellers. I get that it’s one guide, but when I contacted the company about the concerns they didn’t respond.
Carly
Stacey Slow responses and lack of action taken is also reflective of my experience with them last month.
Bev
Costa Rica and Ecuador (Amazon) both amazing
Jonathan
They're good but cost more than a local company. With enough research you can generally find cheaper and better. For the inca trail our stops were planned out way better with Alpaca Expeditions vs their group
Lisa
Used them for Cambodia & they were great but very basic accommodations
Carolyn
Used G for the Inca Trail. They were outstanding. Our guide was exceptional. He spoke perfect English, was well trained in first aid, gave us History lessons and much more. The food was incredible. I would recommend G.
David
G Adventures is awesome, have done Inca Trail, Amazon, Iguassu Falle and Everest Base Camp through them. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is an expected tip at the end (they discuss it at the orientation meeting) but just keep some money aside for it. 100% recommend them though.
Kate
David I’m leaving on G’s Amazon Riverboat cruise on November 1!
David
Kate that is awesome. I didn't get to go on the riverboat, we took a small boat a few hours down a tributary into the jungle then stayed in a camp for a few days. You will love the trip, a ton of things to see.
Dean
travelled with them through Costa Rica, was great!!
Megan
I love G adventures. Have done 3 trips with them they are amazing!
Loretta
Megan where have you gone
Carly
I did their Multi-Stan Adventure last month. The group was mostly senior citizens (my understanding is that in our group of sixteen people, ten were over seventy and two were between 50 and 69, leaving only two of us under 50). Many of the advertised activities were cancelled or modified to accommodate the age of the people in my group, and I was disappointed by the overall experience. I tried to contact the company on Day 3 and Day 10 of the 23-day tour to get back on the advertised plan, and I spoke directly to our tour leaders, but they did not resolve the issues. I am now waiting for a post-trip follow-up which they said would take three weeks to investigate.

Jessica
Yes I loved it
Katherin

Loretta
Katherin pmd you
Jakester
Did Peru. Awesome adventure. Did Indochina (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia). Excellent tours. The CEOs and guides were all great and knowledgable. Highly recommended Canadian company.
Rachel
I’ve done the Morocco trip with Gadventures and it was really good !
Loretta
Rachel would love to hear more could you pm please
Jess
Have been to Morocco and Sri Lanka with G, both in the last 8 months. Both tours were outstanding, we had amazing local guides, and in my opinion are priced superbly for everything that they encompass. I also love that they do homestays and are constantly adding and growing their Planeterra projects. If I did have one suggestion it is to do tour comparisons for whatever area you want to go to before you book, that way you know you're getting the sights and activities that you're most interested in. And if you see something on another tour that interests you, you can either plan to do it before or after the tour or if you have the flexibility wait until you get there to ask your guide for suggestions. They've always got hidden gems up their sleeves!
Pauline
Yes. Love them Been on 5 trips.
