You may want to check the areas you want to see as Paris closed many attractions due to Covid-19...

Do the Secret Food Tour and ask for PJ as your guide! A little bit of history, some delicious foods, and loads of cheese and wine! Swoon! (Also, if you are on St Dominique at some point visit Aux Marveillieux de Fred)

And seeing Les Catacombs was outstanding - but buy your tickets the day before and you get to skip the long cue.

Pierre Herme for macarons, Au Passage for dinner, Eater's site is down right now, but their city guides are usually pretty good. I have heard good things about Septime.

What is the best (reliable) source to learn how COVID 19 is effecting Paris, please?

I'd like to know too. I'm going in 2 weeks. Canada's government site is still saying everything's okay for now. https://travel.gc.ca/.../health.../travel-health-notices/218

CBC radio just announced Paris has gone to the second level of warning.

Ana Hita No point doing that now. I've booked a river cruise in Burgundy. That's still going. I'm pretty sure I'd just lose on the flight too. I'll just wait and see what happens. If THEY cancel at least I'll get some compensation.

Elle Wakeling What does that mean?

Elle Wakeling It's not even mentioned there. I just checked. Also, 2 means not to travel if you are medically at risk.

All schools, daycare, university will be closed starting monday. Louvres and others museum are closed. No more concerts or sports event. Things are not really good there. I would definitely postponed the trip...

Do the Big Bus Tour. It takes you to all the main attractions while giving you some history. You can hop on hop off all you want.

Check out viator. I did a couple walking tours with them 6 years ago - it was a great way to see the city. If you have the time, a day trip to Versailles is an amazing experience, and the Cluny Museum is an absolute gem if you're into the Middle Ages at all. Frankly, I spent more time there (and enjoyed it more) than I did at the L'ouvre.

Cancel !!!!

Cancel, yes. our PM is just announcing that are borders are open primarily for trades and commerce, not vacation. We must flatten this curve so our medical system isn't slammed like our European counter-parts. We've had to cancel.
