Is this old town? Romantic zone ? All the good places to eat are down that way. Archie’s Wok. Barcelona Tapas. Dees coffee for picking up your bag of dark roast ground coffee and great morning muffins. Lots of great taco stands around different times of day. Great cheap lunch special at Los Muertos brewing. A beer and a slice with salad or fries for maybe $70pesos. The chicken roasters are a perfect take away. A whole chicken with all the goodies for $110pesos.

Karen you’ll need to jump a cheap cab into the old down where the Malecon starts and work your way down from there. There are eating places up that way but best are old town and romantic zone. Best places to stay as convenient walking

As the others said the old town is the best. Jump on a bus outside the Venetian to Centro. It doesn’t take long, or a cab is cheap. Great places on Basilio Badillo or really any where around there. Taco carts are great too.
