Opinions on what towns to stay and visit on the Romantic Road in Germany? Won’t have a car. Considering Rothenburg, Wurzburg and Bamberg. We like the small towns! Anyone rented bikes to tour around? More than likely coming from Frankfurt and heading to Munich.

Go south as well and visit Feuchtwangen and Dinkelsbiel. They are cute little towns as well.

Ulm and Langenau just to the north are wonderful.
Also Ulm has the tallest cathedral spire in the world, which you can climb to the top

All I know is when in Munich go to the old town and eat Schnitzel and warm potato salad at the Donisl restaurant. It’s amazing.
