Go south as well and visit Feuchtwangen and Dinkelsbiel. They are cute little towns as well.

Also Ulm has the tallest cathedral spire in the world, which you can climb to the top

All I know is when in Munich go to the old town and eat Schnitzel and warm potato salad at the Donisl restaurant. It’s amazing.
