I flew air canada-red eye 2 times pre covid. They didnt provide any blanket. I had to buy one before on board.

Airline blankets are not washed much so I’d bring a comfy long wide scarf you can use well your away.

Just got home from Portugal with air canada, blankets ( in plastic bags) and pillows on both flights.

Most airlines don't provide blankets anymore, even pre-covid. You can usually purchase one on board.
