If you’re into hiking download the All Trails app. We stayed on Oahu and found a couple awesome hikes to do while we were there. Kuliouou Ridge Trail was my favourite. A bit challenging but worth it for the view at the top.

Either Oahu Maui or Kauai would be great choice . Big Island has currently active lava flow, I guess in couple of months will be over . I would pick 2 islands , one week per island is more than enough .

It all depends on what you want to do or see. Oahu (Waikiki area) is busy with lots of nightlife and shops. The north shore is more laid back. Lanahai and Kailua beach are a must see. Maui has the road to Hana which was really nice to drive but I found the island more touristy. Don’t get me wrong it was nice to walk around Lahaina town and shop. The big island has absolutely beautiful beaches near Kona airport. Kauai was my fave. Lots of hiking on the north shore and we got more of the Hawaiian vibe there. Not a lot of big box stores so if you want that u won’t get that on this island.

Agree with Maui. We’ve also been to the Big Island and Oahu. Loved Maui best. Still haven’t made it to Kauai. Hopefully next time

Went in April...weather was nice....not too hot. Maui has the road to Hanna, a scenic coastal drive, which can be a few days excursion, if you stop to hike waterfalls

Different island have different charters.. I will pick Maui as well... for 1 week and Honolulu for another week.. Honolulu half city life and otherside of the island it's nature. Best part it's. we had a day trip to Jurassic Park behind the scene. We went inside ... so it feel so real, hike at diamond head, beautiful beaches, love all the japan food. Must try poke if u love jap food. Too much to name them all. I will aviod The big island for now.. because of the Lava, but we also love this Island. Oh... don't forget to pick up a pineapple cup at Starbuck.

I did Oahu, Maui and the big island in 2 weeks. This was in 2007 and inter island flights were super cheap!
Oahu- north shore surfing and turtles
Maui- road to Hana and a sunrise Mt. Haleakala
Big island- volcano (mayyybe not the most accessible right now
