Lisa
Red rock canyon, Hoover dam
Lindsay
Lisa I second Red Rock Canyon if you’re looking for something more nature-oriented, it’s stunning!
Sarah
Lindsay I'm also going to the Grand Canyon, is it worth it to go to both?
Lisa
Sarah yes! Totally different.
Lindsay
Yep I would say so, red rock is good because it’s very close to the strip and nice for hiking!
John
Lindsay Did a horseback ride and bbq dinner at red rock. It was great.
David
Lisa Red Rock Canyon is just on the outskirts and is absolutely beautiful.
Lisa
I highly recommend the neon museum at night - fabulous tour. And the pinball hall of fame was a blast!
Sandra
Liberace Museum.
Janna
I recently got back and highly recommend Omega Mart at Area15. Area15 itself is a cool blacklit funky complex that is free to explore, then you pay for each individual experience you want to try. Omega Mart is around $50 but worth every single penny. It's like a trippy weird faux grocery store with magical portals to something...otherworldly. I don't want to spoil it for you but it was phenomenal. I spent about 3 hours exploring and did not want to leave. Once in a lifetime experience.
Angela
Secret pizza in the Cosmopolitan. Yum.
Kelly
Angela is secret pizza a restaurant?
Angela
Kelly no sit down just take away for late night snacking. The pizza is sooo good.
Sarah
If you want the best meal in Vegas (or maybe anywhere) check out Esther’s Kitchen!
Tanya
Neon Museum is all the old signs that used to be on the casinos and have bulbs. I went at Dusk when they light them up so that was neat.
Sharon
Freemont Street in Downtown, Las Vegas. Was just there last month and its definitely a night out. You can even zipline sitting or flying like superwoman
Peggy
The pinball hall of fame
David
Peggy Been there many times….it’s awesome! Great hidden gem.
David
Any taxi you take tell them to take Frank Sinatra Blvd. It’s avoids the main drag and traffic.
Vera
There is a Japanese restaurant, Raku, that is off strip and has the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life. I still think about it and I don’t even like tofu! Better than any I’ve had in Japan
Vicky
Vera agreed!!
Sally
I like Freemont St better than the Strip.
Red Rock Canyon is great of you rent a car. But with only 2 days the Strip and maybe Freemont and you won't have any time left
Sunny
Lots of off strip restaurants that are way better since a lot of chefs have fled the strip to open their own places.
Julie
Instead of taking a taxi, ride the Deuce. It’s cheaper and often just as fast https://www.lasvegashowto.com/las-vegas-deuce

Las Vegas Deuce on the Strip
Sarah
Julie we were thinking of using the monorail?
Julie
Sarah I think the monorail is off the strip. The deuce goes right up and down the strip.
Julie
Sarah I believe the Deuce also has a longer route. You can go down to the Vegas sign, up to Fremont St, to the outlet shopping all in the Deuce. You can buy a 3 day pass too.
Sarah
Julie great tip, thanks!
Ken
recently learned that there is a grand canyon's type area less than 20 minutes from the strip: Red Rock Canyon.
Nancy
Pre COVID we did a behind the scenes walking tour which was cool. I think that it was through viator
Pauline
If you want to escape the crazy part of the strip, inside the Wynn (still on the strip at the far end) is the brand new Parasol Up cocktail bar. Beautiful. Parasol Down is my fave but is closed for renovation. Lovely quieter vibe for drinks.
Steve
Old Vegas at night. The Golden Nugget et al. We went during the day and I would go in the eve next time
Anshul
Highly recommend the honey pig for food!
Anshul
Also needless to say in and out for burgers

If you like Thai food Lotus of Siam is a must.
Candace
The best thing we seen in vegas was the mob museum right off Freemont street about a block, and very reasonable price.....
David
It is in the strip, but the bar in the Peppermill is pretty incredible.
Diane
Great rooftop view from the Paris Hotel.
Freemont is good...better at night
Lots of great shopping, take a ride on the ferris wheel and gotta see Grand Canyon. Enjoy!
Becky
Helicopter over the dam and Grand Canyon. Absolutely incredible trip
Kendra
The haunted museum!
