Hi everyone! We are heading to Honolulu at the end of the month for 10 days and are looking for any recommendations/ suggestions for restaurants while we are there. Everything from a great place to watch the super bowl to more upscale dining! All suggestions very appreciated! Thanks!

Go poke around the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk in the Ala Moana Mall. It's a huge underground Japanese food court with cheap beer and tons of delicious Japanese street food vendors. It's a really fun spot to spend an evening of drinking and eating.

For Oceanside, Dukes, House without a Key, Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian, The Edge of Waikiki, The Beach Bar at Moana Surf Rider all good. The Top of Waikiki has great views in a revolving restaurant. Book early for any Superbowl parties, we went to Rivals, a home town type bar with All you can eat wings and pizza, beer not too expensive. It was fine.

Marukame Udon!! It's so good and cheap but line is long so come early... Also go venture to Giovanni's shrimp truck - it's worth the drive!! And for snacks, go get musubi at musubi cafe Iyasume that's everywhere in Honolulu they are like $2

We loved Honolulu and other spots around Oahu. Agree with Giovanni's, Marukame (shorter wait times at the downtown Honolulu location instead of Waikiki) and Musubi Cafe Iyasumi. Here's a post with our itinerary and some suggestions/favourites there: www.vivahappy.com/Hawaii

Did you consider buying the Costco attraction passes. They come in 3,4,5 day passes. We found them really good.

Outriggers Restaurant opens up to Waikiki Beach great food. They also do a great dinner show in another area of the resort - we seen Elvis impersonators and the food was great. Also there is movie nights on the big screen right on Waikiki Beach they set up food places everything from popcorn to a full meal - do not miss the funnel cakes with fresh fruit best I ever ate yummm. Also don't miss going to the Polynesian Village make sure you use a tour guide to get the most and see the most of the village and they do a huge luau at the end of the day complete with the pork being roasted in the earth. We booked it and several other places and our car rental through a little place located several blocks down from Waikiki (but walking distance from there and most hotels) it was called Tours R Us awesome deals and great tours. We booked our flight and tour of the big island through them also and walked on a live erupting volcano - what an experience. I loved Hawaii and the residents are awesome such a lovely culture and very nice friendly people. People can have their DR and Cuba I would choose Hawaii over them every time.

Am also there at the same time and am desperate to identify a sports bar with at least one big screen for the Super Bowl.

Dukes was great for breakfast buffet! I also recommend eating at the top of Waikiki. It was delicious! We got bored staying in Honolulu. I highly suggest going to explore the other islands.
