Was there last year. In Puerto Princesa I highly recommend Ala Amid bed and breakfast. Definitely book the Underground River tour way in advance. In El Nido stay on the east side of town. Definitely do tour A and C plus go to Nacpan beach. A beautiful but relatively unknown beach is Lio Beach, a brand new resort there but so uncrowded. Go to Coron if you can. Loved the RIVERHOUSE B&B. So secluded. Just a beautiful view. Definitely go to see Kayangan lake on a tour.

Thanks Ernie!

If you can find a cheap flight from palawan or manila, check out boracay. It would be a good change of pace from palawan (more party vibe) but if you love the beach, you'll love it there. Easy to get around, lots of great food, drinks delivered to you as you lounge in the sand..

Thank you Kris

Was just in El Nido last October. If you're wanting to fly to El Nido directly instead of through Puerto Princesa there's Air Swift.
