Going to Thailand for a couple weeks before Tokyo in mid-late March. Just 2 of us. Not into partying, love nature. Was thinking of spending a few days in Bangkok before relaxing and enjoying the islands. Recommendations?

Do you SCUBA dive? If yes, head to Khao Lak and dive the Similan Islands. Better yet, do a liveaboards... nothing nicer than sleeping, diving, eating, and repeating this 3-4 times per day.

If you love nature and not partying go north. Khao Yai National Park is just north of Bangkok and then of course Chiang Mai and surrounding areas are so so beautiful. The islands are beautiful but overcrowded, overpriced and the party scene that is ruining everything will make you sad. If you want to see some island without party you can check out Khao Sok National Park which also isn't too far from bangkok. Have fun ♡

Down to the South beach's past Trang. Beautiful, reasonable prices and not many tourists.

Thailand Travel Recommendations

If you're not into partying and love nature, Thailand is the perfect destination for you. Here are some recommendations for your trip:

Bangkok

Spending a few days in Bangkok is a great idea. Make sure to visit the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho. Take a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and explore the bustling markets and street food stalls.

Islands

For a relaxing and nature-filled experience, head to the islands. Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, and Koh Tao are great options. You can enjoy snorkeling, diving, and beach hopping. Don't miss the stunning sunsets and fresh seafood.

Chiang Mai

If you have time, consider visiting Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. You can explore the lush jungles, visit elephant sanctuaries, and trek to hill tribe villages. The city also has beautiful temples and a vibrant night market.

Overall, Thailand offers a perfect mix of culture, nature, and relaxation. Enjoy your trip!
