CHEAPEST is at the airport . Far away from everything and not the ritz but very cheap

If you are ok to stay just outside of Seattle I love the marriott courtyard (there are two but both great) in Tukwila. They will take you to the train no charge which will take you right down town for only $3 or $4.
Hotel usually ranges from $75-$105 depending on if there is an event or not.

hotwire or priceline express or expedia hidden hotel. Seattle is not a place that offers huge discount as they have limited rooms. Booking at SeaTac and using the fairly new transit like skytrain is quick and only $2.25us
