Looking for recommendations of an All inclusive resort that someone has stayed at over the past few years in Cancun but closer to the town of Puerto Morelos. Excellence Riviera Cancun looks great but very pricey. There are two others Dreams Sapphire and Dreams Riviera Cancun. We have been to Ocean Coral And Turquesa three times and it’s great. The foods good the resorts not too large that you have to walk forever to get anywhere and it’s close to the town.

I live in playa del Carmen now. The fives in Puerto Morelos is outstanding. Smaller place but it's much better than the bigger hotels that just pump out buffet quality food. The drinks and food is outstanding. Staff is unreal and the rooms are gorgeous.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya

Try Huatulco if you are looking at something different. Excellent area, totally safe with a couple of great all inclusives!

We stayed at the excellence there pre pandemic and loved it. It was pricey but good. Not sure if it’s still just as good. We went to the Barcelo Riviera Maya in April because we absolutely loved the place when we went in 2019. We were extremely disappointed and wouldn’t ever even consider a Barcelo property again. I think the last 3 yrs have not been kind to many of the all inclusive in that area and I should have adjusted my expectations before we went.
