Three ladies are travelling to Puerto Vallarta then Rincon de Guayabitos in November. Is taking a cab from airport to town, then to Rincon de G. the best route to go for travel? Thanks.

Take an uber way cheaper ... walk to the main avenue (2 min) and away you go

Walk over the pedestrian bridge. It takes you to Tacon Marlin. Have a beer and most excellent burrito. Use their wifi and call an uber. About $775 right to guayabitos
A taxi from the airport could cost you $1500-2000 due to airport tax and upped prices to tourists

We are going to town for 2 days then up to Guayabitos. But that burrito sounds great!

And sounds like an uber from town then back to the airport at end is the way to go.

Cindy uber doesn’t run from guayabitos to airport as uber isn’t licenced in Nayarit. They can pick up at airport and drop of at guayabitos but not pick up in guayabitos.
Most cabs in guayabitos run you back to the airport for $800

Travel Options: Puerto Vallarta to Rincon de Guayabitos

If you're planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta and Rincon de Guayabitos in November, you'll need to consider your transportation options. While taking a cab from the airport to Puerto Vallarta and then to Rincon de Guayabitos is a convenient option, it might not be the most cost-effective or practical choice, especially if you're traveling with three ladies.

Renting a Car

One of the best options for your group would be to rent a car at the Puerto Vallarta airport. This will give you the flexibility to explore both destinations at your own pace and make stops along the way if desired. The drive from Puerto Vallarta to Rincon de Guayabitos takes approximately 2.5 hours, and having a rental car will allow you to make the most of your time without being tied to public transportation schedules or the need to constantly hire taxis.

Private Shuttle or Transfer Service

If you prefer not to drive, another option is to book a private shuttle or transfer service. Many companies offer direct transportation from the Puerto Vallarta airport to Rincon de Guayabitos, eliminating the need to switch vehicles or navigate multiple transfers. This option can be more expensive than renting a car, but it provides a hassle-free and comfortable experience, especially for a group of three ladies.

Cost Considerations

When comparing the costs of taking cabs versus renting a car or booking a private shuttle, it's important to consider the overall expenses for your trip. While taking cabs might seem more convenient initially, the costs can quickly add up, especially if you plan to explore both destinations extensively. Renting a car or booking a private shuttle can be more cost-effective in the long run, and it will also provide you with greater flexibility and independence during your stay.

Ultimately, the best travel option for your group will depend on your budget, preferences, and desired level of convenience. Renting a car or booking a private shuttle may offer a more enjoyable and stress-free experience, allowing you to make the most of your time in Puerto Vallarta and Rincon de Guayabitos.
