Fly out of Bellingham with Allegiant, only pack a carry-on (still a fee), tons of hotel choices, but for cheap, mid'ish strip, try Monte Carlo, Bally's, Flamingo, or NYNY. You can go cheaper if you want one end or off strip. Also, register and use http://www.mycheapvegas.com/ for hotel coupon codes.

Monday to Friday you can get great deals from the hotel websites.

Mon-fri for sure. Prices double and more on weekends. Keep in mind though some shows not on during week. Flamingo is good and has a top rated pool. If you want cheaper stay off the strip. Tahiti village has good rates 5 min from strip. All suites and has a lovely pool. No casino, restaurant on site. We ate a couple nights at happy hr. caesars palace bar has 50 % off food at happy hr! Then if you see a show at caesars palace you are right there. Yes allegiant has good deals out of bellingham. To get better weather and use of pools book for april 1. Lots of hotels do maintenance before that. Have fun!

it really depends on when you are going and what is on in Vegas at the time - we have gotten rooms for $39 a night and with in days that same room is $169 - its all about supply and demand. Check out hotels that don't have resort fees - they can add anywhere from $20 to $35 a night to your bill. Just google Las Vegas hotel resort fees to learn how much they are. Downtown Grand just off Fremont street was good for us

here is a screen shot for the Downtown Grand Feb and Mar - you can see the huge price difference

Last year, these hotels did not charge resort fees - Binions California Casino Royale Four Queens Fremont Gold Strike M Resort Main Street Station

Definitely go mid-week for the best prices. Hotels off the strip tend to be cheaper.

Treasure Island is great if you are on a budget. You can also try flying out of Abbotsford.

How to Book a Cheap Vegas Vacation
Planning a Vegas vacation on a budget? Here are some tips to help you save money and make the most of your trip.
Book in Advance
One of the best ways to score great deals on flights and hotels is to book your trip well in advance. Airlines and hotels typically offer lower rates for bookings made several months in advance. If you're flexible with your travel dates, you can compare prices and choose the most affordable options.
Consider Midweek Travel
Traveling during the week can be significantly cheaper than traveling on weekends. Hotels and airlines often offer discounted rates for midweek stays, so consider planning your trip from Sunday through Thursday to take advantage of these savings.
Use Travel Deals and Discounts
Keep an eye out for travel deals and discounts. Many websites and travel agencies offer package deals that bundle flights, hotels, and sometimes even show tickets or other attractions at a discounted rate. Additionally, some credit cards offer travel rewards or discounts that you can take advantage of.
Stay Off the Strip
Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip can be quite expensive. Consider staying at a hotel off the Strip, which can be significantly cheaper. Many of these hotels offer free shuttle services to and from the Strip, so you can still enjoy all the attractions without paying premium prices.
Eat Smart
Dining in Las Vegas can be costly, but there are ways to save money on food. Look for buffet deals, happy hour specials, and restaurants offering discounts or coupons. You can also stock up on snacks and drinks at a local grocery store to avoid paying high prices at convenience stores or in-hotel shops.
With a little planning and flexibility, you can enjoy an amazing Vegas vacation without breaking the bank. Happy travels!

What's the best way to book a vegas vacay when trying to keep things as cheap as possible . Was thinking of going in the next 6 months . Prices look the cheapest when booking in advance . although looking at prices into next week just to see what it looks like to book short notice could be pricey just based on the time of year ... I'm not so sure . Any advice would be appreciated
