Has anyone flown interjet from Vancouver to Cancun? It looks like they have just started this route and there are very good deals. However, the reviews of this airline are not great. I was hoping someone has done this flight and can comment. My other option is Air Transat...not amazing but I know what I'm getting. Much thanks!

I flew from Cancun to Vancouver this past November and interjet was great! No issues at all and I would fly with them again

interjet has been great for domestic flights in Mexico, as well as Mexico to Cuba. Didn't know they'd had bad reviews...

Flown interjet throughout Mexico no issues and were thrilled November 30 to fly to Yvr direct from cancun with comfy seats and free drinks. Even a cheese sandwich, not gourmet but if you are hungry will fill you up.

I've never flown interjet, but a good friend who lived in Mexico for 5 years said they were great!

interjet is great. Good prices, excellent customer service and roomy seats! I’ve never heard anything bad nor have I had a bad experience.

interjet is MUCH better than Transat. MUCH better.

Just flew interjet to Cancun on Jan 2nd and returned Jan 9th - absolutely no complaints, lots of leg room, seats may not be as comfy but not bad. Actually fed you during the flight , drinks including alcohol if you so choose. Restrooms are more spacious. Both flights hubby and I had a seat between us, neither flight was completely booked. No movies, we just downloaded stuff from Netflix for the flight. Would fly Internet again!!

Just flew internet Jan 9. YVR-CUN. Great flight. Had full row to myself. Wife had the row in front. Lots of leg room. No frills airline, but great service. No tea. Just coffee. Very good orange juice. Sandwich served. Very clean. No entertainment system, so bring your own. Would recommend definitely!

Thank you everyone for all the feedback! I've booked our flights on interjet for April. If anyone is contemplating a trip, they have a sale on until the 16th. Flights are as low as $300! I had to book directly on their website to get the deal. Happy travels!

DO NOT FLY WITH THEM!! Our flight was cancelled coming home from Cancun and they claim it was due to weather however other airlines had no issues flying into YVR. We have been informed we will not be reimbursed for the flight they cancelled. We had to take a different airline home and pay out of our pocket or wait days with 2 small children to get another flight out with interjet. No a good experience at all!

Was this Jan 14/15? I was supposed to be in the outbound flight which they cancelled. They had a wedding party. On that flight that was supposed to get married THE NEXT Day. They rerouted them through MEX. Can you imagine landing after a14 hour journey then getting married that day? And EVERY FLIGHT that say both landed and took off. Except one.

Raveen yes we were flying out of Cancun on Jan 14 the to come home and the cancelled our flight 1 he before we we're supposed to leave. No explanation and we were informed it would be days before we could get on a flight home... How is that acceptable? All other airlines we're flying into Vancouver. So upset with the fact that interjet thinks this is an acceptable way to treat another human being.

Carlene Lodge a complaint with the Canadian Transportation Agency. I'm on the phone with these assholes EVERY DAY fighting it out. Aldo refer to their Customer Service plan which states their rules.... It says we should be refunded.... No. Mention of an exception due to weather. So they are liars who don't Honor their commitments.

Transat for sure! Great service everytime.

interjet has been incredible for us. To Mexico City, onward to various Mexico or Central America destinations, and return from cancun. Great prices, nice seats. Our experience, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Just realized that this is a very old chain as I see my comments from over a year ago!

We always fly westjet. Not good experiences on low level flights. Would rather spend the extra money and have better comfort

A very very VERY basic airline, they do give you food (a sandwich I believe - keep your expectations low) and drinks, it gets you from A to B. On the way back from Cancún though yvr was having weather issues and the pilot was starting his descent and then rapidly starts climbing again without saying a word to us. We were all a little shaken by this so if there are complications (hopefully there won’t be) don’t expect much communication from the crew. Other than that you sort of get what you pay for
