Kauai!
Colleen
Maui is awesome
Billie
Big island, see scenery you never will elsewhere, I love Waikiki, Maui is okay, Kauai too - for me if I wondered off Oahu, would be Hawaii
Lorraine
I would go to the Big island

Big Island. So much to do and see there. From the desert like mountain observatory to a rain forest. From live lava to some of the best snorkelling. Also, the east side is completely different from the west side.

Catherin 100% agree!! Take a plane to the big island and rent a car at the airport!!
Mandy
Kauai
Timbers resort is amazing!!

Depends on what you want to do..relax at beach/ hike/ surf/ snorkel... North shore of Oahu winter surf season is just firing up, the west of Oahu has some stunning snorkeling ( electric beach) Maui has alot of variety for all activites and ocean is very accessible, also the contrast of great hikes and upcountry area has a large weekend farmers market & craft distilleries with great views (ocean spirits) Lanai is amazing, very low key & absolutely beautiful. If you can swing it the Four Seasons Sensei at Lanai is stunning and they have private transfers from Honululu (you can also take a ferry to Lanai from Maui for a day trip - bring your own snorkel gear it's better than mokolini). Big Island has a wild rustic vibe but takes alot of time to move around, you can easily spend 3-6 hours in the car per day driving to and from different parts of the island. Ocean coastline is typically very rough on North, South and East of island, most not recommended for swimming. Night Manta ray dive near Kona, very cool. Also some cute coffee & macadamia plantations.
I just spent the last 4 months living on the islands I mentioned and absolutely loved it, have a great time and enjoy!

Exelaint advice. Please note that at the moment it may be difficult to rent a car. For that reason I suggest Oahu because public transportation is so easy to get around on. Whatever you choose Hawaii is amazing.

Road to Hana, Molokai snorkeling. Pacific Whale dinners cant remember the name of thr company but if youre there for humpback season go out on a boat for dinner surrounded by humpbacks. Also

Turning Your Honolulu Conference into a Vacation
Attending a conference in Honolulu is already a great opportunity, but adding a vacation to the mix can make it even better! Since you've only been to Maui before, here are a few recommendations for another island to visit during your 5-7 day stay:
1. Kauai
Kauai, also known as the "Garden Isle," is a stunning destination with lush landscapes, beautiful beaches, and plenty of outdoor activities. You can hike the Na Pali Coast, visit Waimea Canyon, or relax on the beaches of Poipu.
2. Big Island
The Big Island of Hawaii offers a diverse range of experiences, from exploring Volcanoes National Park to stargazing on Mauna Kea. You can also visit the black sand beaches of Punaluu or snorkel with manta rays in Kona.
3. Oahu
If you want to stay close to Honolulu, you can explore the island of Oahu. Visit Pearl Harbor, hike to the top of Diamond Head, or relax on the famous Waikiki Beach. You can also explore the North Shore for a more laid-back vibe.
Whichever island you choose, make sure to plan ahead and book any necessary accommodations or activities in advance. Enjoy your conference and vacation in Hawaii!

Looking for advice. What destination or attraction/island would you add on? Only been to Maui before 25 years ago. Thinking of a 5-7 day stay.
