Question:
Humans say...
Joanne
I flew Jetstar from Cairns to Singapore via Darwin...It was ok..they downsized the plane and I lost my window seat that I had picked so I could take pics of the Great Barrier Reef!
Jennifer
That doesn't sound too awful.
We're flying Manila to Kansai, and we just want to make sure we won't get gipped or left behind, kind of thing.
Jennifer
Have you by chance flown Air Asia?
Joanne
Will be flying Air Asia on Nov 11 from Yangon to Siem Reap via a stop in Bangkok
Patty
I've flown with them a few times from Taiwan to Singapore, just your basic budget airline, nothing fancy but not bad when you get a deal!
Jennifer
Good to know! I think I'll book with them then

I have not... So can't give you any feedback there sorry!
Sany
I have tried both and they are pretty standard budget airlines...nothing fancy but deals if they have promotions!
Olga
I've flown both. I preferred air Asia, jetstar wouldn't even give you a glass of water! However air Asia has changed their booking procedures and have lots of extra charges above posted fair. Be aware!
Fenny
Flown with both. They are standard budget airlines. But not bad if u got the steal deal
remember because they are super cheap, they charge everything extra (such as seat booking, food, and bagggage)
Steve
Air Asia just had a plane drop 20000 feet in one minute. They are not known for great safety.Check the news from yesterday

Used to live in Malaysia. Used Air Asia all the time, #1 budget airline in the world (several years running) They have so many routes and flights so their statistic reflect this I'm sure. It's budget yes but they try to be high end budget (eg leather seats). Paid food options aren't great. Prepay your luggage.
I'd be more worried about flying out of Manila - the worst airport. I've taken taxis between terminals, ripped off I'm sure. Was my worst delayed flight it history - literally stare at the walls.
Nancy
Flew Air Asia twice last year - all good. They're a basic budget airline - check your airports when booking.
