I second Toronto Island, you can rent bikes and tout around, or it’s a lovely walk as well. The ferry only takes about five minutes to get across. The Mirvish theatres have lots of great productions running all the time, Broadway style plays, and often last minute discounted tickets are often available. The national ballet is in Toronto if you’re into that, and we love eating at Movinpick downtown Toronto, next to the hockey Hall of Fame, which is also fine if you like hockey. You could catch a Blue Jays game

Ok. So the subways will be your best friend. Check out the map. There are two subways that will pretty much take you anywhere in the downtown core. The great thing about T.O. is it has all these distinct pockets. You got little Italy,St. Lawrence and Kensington markets. Stroll down queen street and stumble up Yonge. College is a great street as well. Yorkville is high society if that's your thing. Don't forget hockey hall of fame and horseshoe tavern for a drink.
