Question:

Hello, I am looking for luggage storage/transfer recommendation for our trip to Japan that would allow us to store our luggage for a week from Narita airport and pick up at Haneda. Thank you all!

You’ll want to use one of these companies: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2278.html
I used Yamato before to send my luggage between hotels in Kyoto to Tokyo and they were in my room when I arrived with no problems.

I second Yamato and similar services. I am pretty sure you can send it from one airport and pick it up at the other fairly easily.

Luggage Storage and Transfer Services for Travel in Japan

When traveling to Japan, especially if you're planning to visit multiple cities, dealing with luggage can be a hassle. Fortunately, there are several convenient luggage storage and transfer services available that can make your trip more comfortable and enjoyable.

Luggage Transfer Services

If you're looking to store your luggage for a week from Narita Airport and pick it up at Haneda Airport, consider using a luggage transfer service. These companies will pick up your luggage at your arrival airport and deliver it to your destination or departure airport on your specified date.

Recommended Service:

Yamato Transport

Yamato Transport is one of the most popular and reliable luggage transfer services in Japan. They offer a door-to-door service, as well as airport-to-airport transfers. The cost for a one-way transfer from Narita to Haneda is around 2,500 JPY (approximately $20 USD) per piece of luggage.

Luggage Storage Services

If you prefer to keep your luggage with you during your trip but need a place to store it for a few hours or days, there are luggage storage facilities available at major airports and train stations.

Recommended Service:

Ecoaple

Ecoaple is a popular luggage storage service with locations at Narita and Haneda airports, as well as major train stations in Tokyo and other cities. Prices start at around 500 JPY (approximately $4 USD) per day for a small bag and 800 JPY (approximately $7 USD) per day for a large suitcase.

Whichever service you choose, be sure to book in advance, especially during peak travel seasons, to ensure availability. Additionally, it's always a good idea to confirm the terms and conditions, including any size or weight restrictions, and insurance coverage for your luggage.

Happy travels!
