I just came back from Bali...my 2nd time there. Moving around is the best way to see the island. One of the gems I found was the "Keramas Sacred River resort" was a great/quiet place to stay...super nice staff!
Neil
I used travel websites to choose hotels & airbnb when in Bali. Ride share app..."Grab" was great to use
Laura
Neil awesome thank you, will check it out!

My best advise to you is to ask around for a Local to take you to the unseen beauty of Bali. We hired a driver for the the day, we all ate on the beach at this beach restaurant. He would except any money, he didn't want to eat ( but we ordered for him anyway) The whole day cost us 50.00 CDN $ our biggest request to him was to see the Real Bali, no the touristy stuff. It was our honeymoon we will never forget. Try to go to Lombok too. Worth the ferry ride.
Laura
Sylvie thank you

I highly recommend this place if you are interested in Tejakula up in Northern Bali. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s right on the ocean and run by an amazing family that can also organize cultural activities and help with anything you need. It’s a little piece of paradise! It’s right next door to a yoga and massage centre too!

I Kadek Ari Wijana is wonderful. You can search him on Facebook. He will also pick you up and drop off at airport. Very reasonable rates
