Which Resorts in Mexico Cater to Small Children for All Inclusive Mayan Travel?

Question:

I need some advice on all inclusive Mexican Mayan travel. There will be 3 adult women and 1 three year old going for one week.
The reason we want to do an all inclusive is that one of the adults is not in the best of health so want to keep work to a minimum.
I need advice on resorts that also cater to small children....do we get two rooms or are there family units...how will this affect costs etc.
Thanks in advance for advice....we also want to go near the first or second week in March.

Look at Dreams Puerto Adventuras. Its a small resort so there won't be tonnes of walking for adult in ill health. The resort was very family oriented and the staff there are wonderful!

I am also looking for a "family suite" as I have been going to Mexico with my daughter and my grandson and one room with two beds are getting a bit crowded.

All-Inclusive Mexican Mayan Travel: The Perfect Getaway for Three Adults and a Little One

Planning a vacation with three adults and a three-year-old child can be a daunting task, but an all-inclusive resort in the Mayan Riviera of Mexico might just be the perfect solution. With one of the adults not in the best of health, an all-inclusive resort offers the convenience and relaxation you need, while still catering to the needs of a small child.

Resort Options for Families

Many resorts in the Mayan Riviera offer family-friendly accommodations, including family suites or connecting rooms. These options allow you to have separate sleeping areas while still being close to your little one. Some resorts even have dedicated family areas with kid-friendly pools, playgrounds, and activities.

Here are a few resorts to consider:

  • Barceló Maya Grand Resort: This massive resort complex offers a variety of accommodation options, including family suites and connecting rooms. It boasts a water park, kids' club, and plenty of activities for all ages.
  • Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa: This family-friendly resort features an Explorer's Club for kids, a water park, and a dedicated kids' pool area. They offer family suites and connecting rooms.
  • Grand Velas Riviera Maya: This luxury all-inclusive resort has a dedicated family section with a kids' club, baby concierge, and family activities. They offer family suites and connecting rooms.

Cost Considerations

The cost of an all-inclusive resort can vary greatly depending on the resort, room type, and travel dates. Generally, you can expect to pay a premium for family-friendly accommodations like suites or connecting rooms.

However, the convenience of having all meals, drinks, and activities included can often offset the higher room rates, especially when traveling with a small child. Many resorts also offer discounted rates for kids, further reducing the overall cost.

Traveling during the first or second week of March can be an excellent time to visit, as it falls within the high season but before the peak spring break crowds. However, rates may be slightly higher than during the low season.

Final Thoughts

An all-inclusive resort in the Mayan Riviera of Mexico can be the perfect choice for your group of three adults and one three-year-old child. With family-friendly accommodations, kid-friendly activities, and the convenience of having everything included, you can truly relax and enjoy your vacation while minimizing the workload for the adult with health concerns.

Be sure to research your resort options thoroughly, considering factors like family amenities, room configurations, and overall value. With some careful planning, you can create a memorable and stress-free vacation for everyone in your group.
