I have a golden retriever myself so just for fun I decided to google it and have a look. Westin Bayshore allows dogs around 50 pounds and no additional charge. But I would call and confirm since policies change.

I've stayed with my large dogs at the Century Plaza, and I know that Hotel Vancouver is large dog friendly as well.
In North Van there are a few as well.

Fairmonts do!

I have no idea why they limit the size of the dog, I have a 13 lb Chihuahua who has issues with other dogs and a 90 lbs Husky who loves everyone and is the much better pet. The dog you would rather have as a guest.

I'm looking for a dog friendly hotel in the Lower Mainland for a friend who has a labrador. Most of the hotels I've found limit the acceptable dogs to less than 25 pounds. Can anyone suggest a hotel that might accept a larger dog?
