Very easy. Playa del Carmen has some large grocery stores. I have stayed in a condo several times and ordered online. Groceries are in your condo when you arrive.

i went to the local grocery store.i took some pasta with me as well as my stand by chicken noodle soup from liptons, but i love shopping locally whenever i travel.. love the lime nestea mix

Actually don't travel at all... This would be a first out of Canada/US/Japan. I'm a bit nervous to travel to Mexico.. And venture out of resort. Do you take a cab, bus, walk?

If youre in a resort most of them are all inclusive and very good deal f you dont venture out. Lots of safe local grocery stores in Playa. Been there many times and although its changing stay in the well lit areas and ON the beaten track and youll be fine. Taxis readily available, walk if youre in playa, dont get sucked into timeshare adventures EVER!!!!

Playa Del Carmen is in the Yucatan which is the safest area of Mexico......safer then most places in the US. Likely Canada too. We were there recently......we took cabs, took buses, walked around.....never felt unsafe. We've been going for years. We rented a condo in Playa and got our groceries at Mega.

yes i have. We backpacked through the Mayan Riviera. It was fun. Eat out most of the time as we didn't had cooking accessibility in the cabanas we rented, but it was cheap and awesome!

Best travel advice to avoid timeshares- always wear sunglasses - especially when going off the plane and through the airport. That way when you go through the first area you don't make eye contact with anyone.
