My kids 6 and 4 loved Sandos Caracol which is between Cancun and playa del Carmen. Their kids pool with slides is what they always remember.

We stayed at the Riu palace. Loved it. Not that we took kids but I watched the programs. Check it out.

Puerto Vallarta- short direct flight. depending on your budget. Amber Now
Or for less Melia
both are very kid friendly
We liked the Melia for our 2.5 year old. We got the family room with bunk bed. Highly recommend it.

Amy
Melia has baby club
Krista
thanks, I've been wanting to try out PV for its ease of getting there but seeing as I've never been- wasn't sure where to start. I'll look into that family room
Amy
This is what our room looked like. we removed the ladder because our son was a climber. But being able to put him down for naps and close the curtains was almost like having a separate room for him. We never left him in the baby club. But it looked good. They really cater to small children and babies. Amble High chairs etc.

The one in Cuba had day care and toddler day care in & outdoor with pool and you can even be right beside at pool and see your kids
Ron
The Gran Caribe Cancun has a fantastic family program with kid's pool etc...I can get you club member rates if you are interested. Let me know
