Open to go anywhere as long as it’s budget friendly with nice food and beautiful beaches.

Montego Bay Area- all hotels are excellent- for a honeymoon I’d say Sandles resorts.

We booked ours through AAA (AMA) and went to the El Dorado Royale. It was incredible. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Now Amber in puerto Vallarta

We love Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta Marina area. Close to the airport. Although on a golf course (golf included) they also have a private beach club an easy 10 minute walk or a free shuttle service. Fabulous food and a very tranquil environment. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Adult only but you do have the option to visit their family friendly resorts close by as well.

The Riu chain with sunwing are nice! 5 star. Not a sandals or beaches resort but very nice. We’re stayed in one on Mazatlan and monetgo bay. For a honeymoon I would suggest the update to the adults only ones.

I agree I have been to the Mazatlan one for my divorce celebration definitely enjoyed it

Neither of us had ever done a cruise so we decided to do something together as a first. OMG it was incredible!!! We chose Norwegian Cruise Lines because it's freestyle- no set dining times and you can get a drinks package as one of your free perks. NCL spoiled us and gave us several honeymoon perks which was an unexpected surprise. If you choose any of their Caribbean cruises, you can explore several awesome beaches in one trip. The best food we ever had in an allinclusive was the Azul Fives resort on the Mayan Rivier. It wasn‘t cheap, but end of May is off season. Having said that several charters don’t run at that time of year. We really enjoyed it but its not a real party/ big entertainment type place though if that’s your preference.

Do you need all inclusive?? We went to Nicaragua a few years ago and loved it! Lots of activities to do and was pretty easy to travel around to different towns /
Cities if that’s what you wanted.

Love the Karisma resorts. Gourmet inclusives. Check out El Dorado Seaside Suites. Or the one located on Maroma Beach. I've been to Seaside Suites but not Maroma (yet!)

Bahia Principe at Playa Del Carmen is a great place with great beach and close to many activities.

There are so many places and so many experiences - hubby and I decide our vacations by looking at tripcentral.ca as it has a grid of places and months, showing the least expensive. Then we take a look at the Reviews that are posted right on the site to see if it has the activities/amenities we want. This winter we enjoyed a small resort in Ixtapa (Hotel Emporio), Sandos and Akumal Bay in the Mayan Riviera, Breezes in Nassau in the Bahamas and a small resort (Starfish Halcyon) in Antiqua. All great food (that's what we look for in the reviews), great beach, and activities.

We honeymooned in Montego Bay Jamaica at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall. We are definitely planning on going again. Best food, atmosphere, and all around really awesome trip. The Zilara is adults only but you get access to the Ziva as well which is all ages. Nice beach, the pool was great, people were nice, hilarious, and helpful.

Negril Jamaica. 7 mile beach is amazing!!

The Laguna Villa Suite at the Grand Sunset Princess All Suites Resort. Adults only, two persons per suite, private pool area with bar/butler service, poolside Concierge, daily stocked bar fridge, Balcony overlooking the lagoon,premium room with Myan shower(awesome), jetted tub, reserved beach area...the list goes on. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

We’re here right now and it is mind blowing. And we’ve been to some fancy GI resorts and all over the Caribbean. This place is crazy unique. They have an adults only section as well.
