Looking for recommendations- sept going to be in Barcelona and would love the name of some places to stay. Don’t want fancy just clean and reasonably priced and in a good area and close to metro. I would really appreciate any ideas at all because it is so overwhelming trying to figure out where to stay

We stayed at hotel Santa Marta - very happy with it. Right by barcelonetta metro station as well as train station. Lots of restaurants close by. About a 15 minute walk to las ramblas.

Have confirmed name. Went to their website and plopped in 4 days in September. 384 euros so 96 per day. Special promotion price. No breakfast - that is another 20 total.

Terri no for some reason that is popping up. It is hotel Santa Marta. Google it - they have their own website. And that is what we booked on. No problem. Have early check in and late check out.
But you have lots of other recommendations.

We did and Air Band B it was awesome! it was central, clean and amazing host! There are so many options depending on what you want. We were within walking to Las Ramblas which was great! Good luck!

Terri her and her husband own several properties and had great reviews on all of them . They were very helpful, place was clean and comfortable. Not glamorous like a 5 star hotel but we liked the location/ area/ and space we mostly used for sleeping and eating breakfast.
