Just stayed at the Westin. The pool is great.Two hour bookings. Bar and food service but it was August. Loved the bar and restaurant lounge. Great drinks. Nice coffee shop for mornings. Right on the water! Can’t beat the location. After years at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver the Westin Bayshore is our new fav.

If you like boutique luxury hotels check out Georgian Court. It is central, the rooms are beautiful, the service impeccable, and I found it less pretentious than the Pan Pacific. https://www.georgiancourthotelvancouver.com/

Pinnacle is good but IMHO Bayshore has the best location, right on seawall, next to stanley park, walkable to downtown and English Bay, views of the North Shore

Cara Curtis The Blue Ruby on Robson. Fun and unique. Huge range of prices. Never miss it. Almost all of my jewelry over the years is from that store. My fav jewelry store. Always have to go to Joe Fortes. Two incredible lunches there. The patio upstairs is so lovely! Art gallery was a total dud this time. Skip it. English Bay beach and a bottle of Prosecco for a sunset

Hello! We are headed to Vancouver for the weekend in September. We have stayed a few times but not many. What are your favourite hotels downtown? We are leaning towards the Westin Bayshore but open to others. An outdoor pool is a must. Otherwise just looking for clean, nice room, view if possible and close to shopping and restaurants!
