We booked our excursions through our Riad, they sent us a private air conditioned van and our own driver who stayed with us the whole time. We did the Atlas Mountains and ate with a Berber family and a day trip to the coast town of Essaouira. Follow this IG account for great ideas…Best of Marrakech…lots of suggestions , videos etc

Dina We we’re told the drive to the Atlas Mountains was “4 hours” round trip. As were others on the van. Be aware it’s 4 hours one way. Loved the journey but a lot for a day trip.
Dina
Liz we already did the trip a couple of years ago. It was not 4 hours from our Riad in Marrakech.

Thanks all! We’ve booked a tour that starts us off in Marrakech and takes us through a couple of cities.
