East village has so many vegan options! I highly recommend Caravan of Dreams. I loved John's of 12th Street as well, which is an Italian restaurant with a separate vegan menu. I didn't find midtown Manhattan, which catered more to tourists, really had many diverse food options.

Peacefood Cafe. There’s one in the village and one in upper west side. Blossom has a few different locations. Superiority Burger in east village is legendary! Candle 79 is amazing but higher $$. They also have Candle Cafe which is more casual.
Honestly there are tons of options!

Vegan/Vegetarian Food:
- Blossom: Located in Manhattan, Blossom offers a delicious vegan menu with options like seitan piccata and truffle mushroom risotto.
- Champs Diner: In Brooklyn, Champs Diner is known for their vegan comfort food like burgers, milkshakes, and breakfast options.
- Avant Garden: Another Manhattan spot, Avant Garden serves up upscale vegan dishes in a cozy atmosphere.
Live Music Venues:
- Bowery Ballroom: Located in Manhattan, Bowery Ballroom is a great spot to catch indie bands and up-and-coming artists.
- Brooklyn Steel: In Brooklyn, Brooklyn Steel is a popular venue for rock concerts and larger shows.
- Babys All Right: This Brooklyn venue often features hip hop acts and has a fun, laid-back vibe.
Drag Shows:
- Stonewall Inn: Located in Manhattan, Stonewall Inn is a historic LGBTQ+ bar that often hosts drag shows and events.
- 3 Dollar Bill: In Brooklyn, 3 Dollar Bill is a newer LGBTQ+ bar and event space that frequently features drag performances.
Enjoy your time in NYC and have a fantastic trip!
