I'd check on priceline or expedia. I don't know if any airline fly directly from Australia to Vancouver. I have a friend, flew from Melbourne to Vancouver via Hong Kong, Cathay airway. One of my ex-workers, she flew to Sydney via LA. She told me fast way via LA. There is another way, via Honolulu (I took this route cuz it was cheapest at the time).

Look like aircanada has direct flight.
Tessa
Buy it for them and put their name in as the passenger.
Pat
So I just buy the tickets and put their address and they will get the tickets? Great, thanks...

You can put their email addresses but you will probably need their passport info to buy the tickets.
Nary
You need their full name that shows on the passport and birthday. You can enter his/her email but what I've done, I email to me and I forward that email to the traveller.
Pat
thanks all for your input...

The departure is outside Canada .pricing will b different even if purchased in Canada and most of the time it's more expensive during a seat sale. They must book it in their country when there is no seat sale in Canada

The Best Way to Send a Return Flight from Australia to Vancouver
If you're living in Australia and planning to visit Vancouver for a couple of weeks, there are several options for booking a return flight. However, the best way depends on your specific needs and preferences.
1. Book Early
One of the most important tips for finding the best deal on a return flight from Australia to Vancouver is to book your tickets well in advance. Airlines typically offer their cheapest fares several months before the travel date. If you wait until the last minute, you'll likely end up paying significantly more.
2. Be Flexible with Dates
Being flexible with your travel dates can also help you find cheaper flights. Try searching for flights a few days before or after your preferred travel dates, as prices can vary significantly based on the day of the week and time of year.
3. Consider Stopover Flights
While direct flights from Australia to Vancouver may be the most convenient, they are often more expensive. Consider booking a stopover flight, which can be significantly cheaper. Popular stopover destinations for flights from Australia to Vancouver include Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.
4. Use Flight Search Engines and Price Alerts
To find the best deals on return flights from Australia to Vancouver, use flight search engines like Skyscanner, Kayak, or Google Flights. These websites allow you to compare prices across multiple airlines and travel dates. You can also set up price alerts to be notified when fares drop for your desired route.
5. Consider Airline Loyalty Programs
If you frequently travel with a particular airline or airline alliance, consider joining their loyalty program. Members often enjoy exclusive discounts, priority boarding, and other perks that can make your travel experience more enjoyable and potentially save you money.
By following these tips, you'll increase your chances of finding the best deal on a return flight from Australia to Vancouver, allowing you to enjoy your two-week stay without breaking the bank.
