What Can You Expect on a Tour with Intrepid Travel?

We did a safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Intrepid. Great trip. Tour guide and other staff were great. Only thing I didn't like was having to carry the cash for the kitty on us. Flying into Nairobi with $1000 USD and then carrying it around for a day made me really nervous, especially since our cab broke down on the highway in the middle of the night...

My son did a tour with them in Italy and loved it. He has booked another one with them for Mexico.
Cathy
I did Italy with them! Loved it! Very great for doing your own thing.

I cannot comment on Intrepid, but I have taken three trips with another one booked from G Adventures which is a Toronto based company ......enjoyed all f them Greece, Turkey and Japan
Amber
I've taken three tours with intrepid- Manchu picchu, Vietnam and India. First two were "basics" tours- lots of free time so you get a lot of freedom to do your own thing and it's really great to have the accom and transport taken care of. Great value for money IMO

Intrepid Travel Review: A Unique and Immersive Experience
If you're looking for a travel company that offers unique and immersive experiences, Intrepid Travel should definitely be on your radar. I recently went on one of their tours, and it exceeded all my expectations.
Responsible and Sustainable Travel
One of the things that drew me to Intrepid Travel was their commitment to responsible and sustainable travel. They work closely with local communities, support local businesses, and strive to minimize their environmental impact. This not only makes for a more authentic travel experience but also ensures that your travel dollars are benefiting the places you visit.
Off-the-Beaten-Path Destinations
Intrepid Travel specializes in taking travelers to off-the-beaten-path destinations that many other tour companies overlook. Instead of hitting the typical tourist hotspots, their tours focus on immersing you in the local culture, cuisine, and way of life. This means you'll have the opportunity to experience places and activities that most tourists never get to see.
Small Group Sizes
Another great aspect of Intrepid Travel is their small group sizes. Unlike some other tour companies that cram dozens of people onto a bus, Intrepid limits their group sizes to a maximum of 16 people. This not only makes for a more intimate and personalized experience but also allows for greater flexibility and spontaneity during your travels.
Knowledgeable and Passionate Guides
The guides employed by Intrepid Travel are truly exceptional. They are not only knowledgeable about the destinations they visit but also passionate about sharing their love for the local culture and history. They go above and beyond to ensure that every traveler has an unforgettable experience.
Final Thoughts
If you're looking for a travel company that offers unique, immersive, and responsible travel experiences, I highly recommend booking a trip with Intrepid Travel. Their commitment to sustainable tourism, off-the-beaten-path destinations, small group sizes, and knowledgeable guides make for an unforgettable travel experience that you won't find with many other companies.
