Question:
Humans say...
Jody
You could've just said every country lol
Camille
Because there are so many amazing places to see on our earth
Jody
Exactly
Amandeep
Lol ya true but already been to Canada, US, Dominican, Jamaica, Cuba, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, India, Pakistan, Singapore. There’s 198 countries in the world give or take
Jennie
I highly recommend Ghana too...West Africa is an amazing place!
Alan
It's a barrel list!
Brianne
Africa isn't a country.
Amandeep
Yes you are correct, it’s a Continent
Mike
Egypt is in Africa though.
Fate
I think Brianna (and I) are confused why you listed individual countries for every other item on your list, then just wrote "Africa" as a list item when it's a whole damn continent with 50+ countries.
Martin
Ok, have done St Lucia, Caymans, Spain, Greece, Italy, Egypt, Africa, Dubai, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia and a few more. Recommend all of them.
Linda
Scotland's missing! So is Ireland and England.
Amandeep
Yes, gotta add Ireland, they have amazing castle tours
Jillian
My bucket list has been more human ruins/ history/ art museum/ art nouveau or experience specific.. motorcycling in Vietnam (which I'm about to do in 3 weeks), Angkor Wat, Machu Picu, Prado, Louvre, Gaudi houses, Sagrada etc..
Amandeep
Waow I love it, never thought about it from that perspective
Eve
If you start taking cruises you get to see a lot of country's at one time and you only have to unpack once. I've seen a lot of the world this way, and it's not as expensive as you think.
Jillian
How do you see a country from a cruise ship?
Eve
Jill Yewell cruise ships stop in ports of the country you are visiting so you can get off the ship and explore a part of that country.
Amandeep
Yes so very true and safe and secure as well. They account for all passengers coming and going off the ship. Repositioning cruises are cheap cheap
Marshall
Hmmm, I and thousands of tourists (shipmates) descending on a town all at once ... no thanks! It's more expensive and less authentic that way.
Jillian
Eve Crooke Homewood.. OK.. but if someone docked from a cruise ship and spent a few hours in Vancouver and tried to tell me they'd visited Canada..I might look at them sideways.
Marshall
Jill Yewell And I would look up and roll my eyes!
Eve
Jill Yewell and Marshall, Until you’ve done a cruise, don’t knock it, plus I would rather see different country’s even if it was only for a few hours, it’s better than being stuck in one place all the time that was not what I expected.
Jillian
Totally. I get it. I’d take a cruise to Alaska. The getting stuck in one place (on a boat) all the time and it not being what I expected and not being able to leave seems problematic as well as the stories of mass food poisoning’s but maybe one day. I did go to Mexico for lunch once tho.. like I crossed the Texas/ Mexico border and had a meal in a border town and went back to Texas the same day and since the rest of the country is probably just like that border town.. ya. I’d say I’ve been to a Mexican tourist trap border town and didn’t really experience the country. Each to their own.
Eve
Jill Yewell I don’t think I explained my self very well, when mentioned being stuck in one place I didn’t mean on a Cruise ship, I meant when you fly to a destination somewhere and being in the same location for a couple of weeks.
Jillian
Eve Crooke Homewood I didn’t mean to disregard a cruise. I do think there’s more to a country than 1 city or a port but in reality.. travelling is daunting and not usually for the faint of heart. However you’re able to see parts of the world outside your doorstep is a worthy trip. Good for you for going on cruises.
Eve
I know cruising is not everyone’s cup of tea, I’m the type of person that will try something once and if I don’t like it I won’t try again.
Keith
Also cruising is not very eco friendly, although I admit to being on several. Prefer a long term stay in a little 2 star hotel in a big city. You really get to know the place then.
Liessi
All the buckets!
Roxanne
I made this a few months back.
I’ve been to Cuba, US, France, Germany, Cook Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Venezuela, Brazil, Aruba, Puerto Rico, Tanzania, Kenya. Going to Croatia, Italy and Switzerland next week!
Fate
My list is ever growing. But my top spots, for now, are:
Peru, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia
Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Bhutan, Nepal, South Korea
Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia
Greece, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Ireland
Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Botswana, Ghana, Tanzania
Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize
New Zealand
But I'm sure I'll add many others
Keith
Peru is amazing, except Lima. You will love it.
