You are not required but I highly recommend Twinrex (hep A and C -last 10 years)
Amanda
Thanks Michelle! You are a big help! I will check when I got my Twinrex last!
Heather
Hep A and B. No vaccine available for Hep C. Could also take Dukoral, an oral vaccine for some strains of E. coli

I have been multiple times and it is extremely important to err on the side of caution. Unlikely of any concern in major cities but if you decide to trek, or get in the forested or inner areas, who knows. And for such a simple effort (and a bit of a pinch perhaps) you know you are protected. Also, definitely consider taking Ducoral..it is a preventive diarrhea medication (a liquid like alka seltzer) you have to schedule it to be taken aa few months before leaving, another one just before leaving and not sure after that..then you are good for four years. My husband is a doc...we always use it for every trip (redoing it as a booster according to the schedule, I think i'ts every few years). You get it from the pharmacy but it does not require a prescription. Enjoy!

Is there a travel clinic where you live? I always go there for pre-travel info. You might want anti milarials for your travels too.
Selina
You can book appointments online for London drugs travel clinic & they will go over everything with you & vaccinate you right then. Hep A, Hep B, and Dukoral for sure.

Traveling to Southeast Asia: Vaccine Requirements
Planning a trip to Southeast Asia this winter? It's always important to check if there are any required vaccines or immunizations before entering a new country. Here is a breakdown of the vaccine requirements for Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong:
Cambodia:
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), travelers to Cambodia are recommended to be up to date on routine vaccines such as measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, varicella (chickenpox), polio, and influenza. Additionally, it is recommended to get vaccinated for Hepatitis A and Typhoid.
Thailand:
Similarly, travelers to Thailand are advised to have routine vaccines and consider getting vaccinated for Hepatitis A and Typhoid. Malaria prophylaxis may also be recommended depending on the areas you plan to visit.
Singapore:
For Singapore, routine vaccines are recommended along with Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations. It is also important to be aware of the risk of Dengue fever in Singapore.
Vietnam:
In Vietnam, routine vaccines are advised as well as Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations. Malaria prophylaxis may also be recommended depending on the regions you will be traveling to.
Malaysia:
Travelers to Malaysia should be up to date on routine vaccines and consider getting vaccinated for Hepatitis A and Typhoid. Malaria prophylaxis may be recommended for certain areas.
Hong Kong:
For Hong Kong, routine vaccines are recommended along with Hepatitis A vaccination. It is also important to be aware of the risk of Dengue fever in Hong Kong.
It is always best to consult with a healthcare provider or travel clinic to get personalized recommendations based on your specific travel plans and health history. Safe travels!

We are traveling to Southeast Asia this winter. Does anyone know if you are require to have any vaccines/immunizations to entry Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia & Hong Kong? It seems like most of them are optional. I have tried the travel.gc.ca website.Which doesn't give any direct advice. Thanks!
