We’ve travelled a lot and of the places that has blown us away is Guatemala. Antigua is spectacular. Look it up. I think it’s one of the nicest most beautiful places I’ve ever been. We just got back from a few weeks exploring Bali and it’s beaches. It was really nice and the people and culture is amazing. Also the Netherlands is awesome. Road tripping through that area is so easy and beautiful.

Profile picture of Leona

Shalini the food was extremely mediocre in Guatemala.. but besides that, I think Guatemala was one of my favourite countries in Central America!

Profile picture of Shalini

Shalini

Leona totally agree. It’s not foodie heaven but it sure is spectacular. We took a bus to Belize at the end of that trip and the seafood there was incredible

Profile picture of Sandie

Sandie

Shalini we are debating Quatemala or Venezuela

Profile picture of Shalini

Shalini

Sandie oh nice! I have never been to Venezuela. If you do Guatemala, we did El Salvador, took a bus to Guatemala (Antigua, Lake Atitlan, and Tikal) and then finished off in Belize. The snorkeling and diving in Belize is incredible. And We only stayed on Caye caulker and ambergris caye. Both were totally different from one another but so fun.

Poland is lovely especially the southern regions like Zakopane. Cheap food and booze!

Profile picture of Shalini

Shalini

Sylvia yes Poland is awesome. And so much history. We did some hiking and climbed Mount Rysy when there. It’s pretty amazing.
Okay I can’t believe I forgot to mention Greece and Albania. Sounds like you’ve done lots of Europe but we did a road trip (flew to Corfu, took a ferry to Albania and rented a car) over two weeks and we drove the Albanian coast up to Montenegro and croatia (Dubrovnik) I had no idea how many beautiful beaches there are in Albania. Ksamil is probably the nicest water and beach I’ve ever seen. Corfu is also incredible.

Jordan left an impression with us, both good (scenery) and not so good (the haggling, tourist rip-off culture). I'd go quickly before the Kingdom explodes. Petra and Wadi Rum are the most scenic places I've visited. I've been to 48 ocuntries.)

We did Beijing, Rome, venice, Mulan,Germany, Switzerland, I'm sure I'm missing some as that was 5 years ago, we are the type to not do resorts and see everything, we also did this and stopped in between small places even if it was for a few hours, did the train through Europe, my husband is an amazing planner, I could be wrong but we did at least 5 countries and i think we spent about 2500 per person

Profile picture of Sandie

Hi Sandie, would you be interested in Grenada (the Caribbean island)? It’s luscious as can be an absolutely unspoiled by tourism plus, it is known as one of the safest islands on the Caribbean.
I am hosting a retreat here in a beautiful villa steps away from the beach. It would be an absolute pleasure to have your energy in the space and show you this magical place. http://mypretendlife.com/.../reclaim-your-connection-to.../

My Favorite Travel Destination

Since you've been to quite a few countries and are looking for an exotic destination to visit in November, I would highly recommend exploring the vibrant and culturally rich Morocco.

Morocco is a land of contrasts, where ancient traditions seamlessly blend with modern influences. From the bustling souks of Marrakech to the tranquil kasbahs of the Sahara Desert, this North African country offers a truly unique and immersive travel experience.

In November, the weather in Morocco is pleasantly warm and sunny, making it an ideal time to explore the country's diverse landscapes. You can wander through the narrow alleys of Fez's medieval medina, marvel at the intricate architecture of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, or embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of the Sahara.

Moroccan cuisine is a highlight in itself, with flavors influenced by Berber, Arabic, Mediterranean, and Moorish traditions. Savor the aromatic tagines, indulge in the sweet and savory pastries, and sip on refreshing mint tea while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.

Beyond the cities, Morocco offers a wealth of natural beauty. Explore the stunning Ourika Valley, with its cascading waterfalls and lush valleys, or venture into the High Atlas Mountains for scenic hikes and encounters with the friendly Berber communities.

With its rich history, captivating culture, and breathtaking landscapes, Morocco promises to be an unforgettable and truly exotic destination for your November adventure.
