I'm currently at the Palladium resort in Punta Cana (4 resorts in the complex). There's people from every part of the world here - Spain, Italy, Germany, US etc. Ate supper with a couple from Chicago last night!

Natalie Woolf I'm currently at the same location Melanie just suggested and it's a good choice! You should be able to book the all inclusive for two with one of your flights and then the other might just need the flight. I'm not sure though so I'll leave that to travel experts. We talked to a lot of Americans today and they paid more than we did for the same amount of nights with flight so be sure to check from her end and your end.

Also we booked with westjet vacations. They are the same price as everyone else we looked at plus the airport here was easy. Lots of folks with westjet signs so you knew exactly where to go. Customs was easy. westjet also pays your entrance and exit fees to and from the country as well as your transfers from the airport to resort and back again. So really, cheaper than others as those two things could run you close to $150.

We stayed at the Bahia Principe Bavaro resort - it was amazing. Not sure how coming from different locations would work. We flew to Toronto and out of there. I suppose if you aren't an immigrant the US thing isn't going to be an issue

We stayed at Breathless Punta Cana resort and we flew in from two different locations and countries (Edmonton and Los Angeles). We connected with a travel agent who organized flights and hotel for us as she could then make the deal work for us. Worked out perfect

We flew direct from Edmonton on air transat. Stayed at Bahia Principe Punta Cana. Nice resort. Food is good not great.

All-Inclusive Vacations with Different Flight Origins
Planning a vacation with friends or family members flying from different locations can be a bit tricky, especially when it comes to all-inclusive packages that include flights. In this blog post, we'll explore how all-inclusives work with people flying from different cities and countries, and address any potential issues you might encounter.
Booking Flights Separately
One common approach for all-inclusive vacations with varying flight origins is to book the flights separately from the resort package. This way, each person can arrange their own flights from their respective departure city, and then meet up at the destination.
The benefit of this method is that it allows for maximum flexibility, as everyone can choose their preferred airline, flight times, and potentially take advantage of any special deals or loyalty programs they belong to.
Bundling Flights with the All-Inclusive Package
Some travel providers may offer the option to bundle flights from different origins with the all-inclusive resort package. This can be a convenient option, as it streamlines the booking process and ensures that everyone's travel arrangements are coordinated.
However, it's important to note that bundling flights from multiple locations may come with additional costs or restrictions. For example, the package price might be higher than booking flights separately, or there may be limited flight options or specific airlines to choose from.
International Considerations
If you're traveling with friends or family members from different countries, such as Canada and the United States, there may be additional considerations to keep in mind.
First, ensure that everyone has the necessary travel documents, such as passports and visas (if required), to enter the destination country. Requirements can vary based on nationality, so it's essential to check the entry requirements for each person in your group.
Additionally, some travel providers may have different pricing or package options for international travelers, even if you're all booking for the same resort. It's always a good idea to inquire about any potential differences or restrictions based on country of origin.
Communication and Coordination
Regardless of how you choose to book your all-inclusive vacation, clear communication and coordination among your group is crucial. Discuss travel preferences, budget constraints, and any special requirements or accommodations needed upfront to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip for everyone.
Consider appointing a designated coordinator or creating a shared document or group chat to keep everyone updated on travel plans, deadlines, and important information.
By understanding the nuances of booking all-inclusive vacations with varying flight origins and being proactive in your planning, you can ensure a stress-free and memorable getaway with your loved ones.

Looking for an all inclusive in Dominican Republic. However, the friend I'm going with would be flying from Chicago. Does anyone know how all inclusives (flight included) work with people flying from different locations? Also, is the Canada and USA difference an issue?
