Book a bike trip on the most dangerous road in the world. Road is not used for vehicles anymore but a great ride.

It’s so beautiful there! We are building a house there for retirement. The most beautiful beaches in Mexico are just outside of La Paz. Check out Playa Balandra. Swim with whale sharks if they are around. Take a tour out to Isla Espiritu Santo. Also your teen might like sand boarding in the dunes.

We stayed at Hotel Catedral and would recommend it, with a good breakfast included. Estancia Uruguaya is a great place for a nice dinner.

There is so much to do. I own a house there. There is a different beach 20 minutes in any direction from the city center. There is La Fontana that has people from every where in the world doing kite sailing on hydro planes. The ocean looks like it is covered in butterflies! Then down the road from there is Los Barilles...you can watch the whales while sitting on the beach. Going the other way is Tecolote Beach, the most beautiful beach I have ever gone to. I used to take my dogs there . Lots of good eateries. Then there is Balahndra beach fully protected and so beautiful. Jaques Cousteau has his ships there and there is even an island named after him. Even walking off of the malacon you can find lots of whole sea dollars. And that is only half of what you can do.
