Afternoon / evening trip into PV? Worth walking the Malecón at least one evening imo. The street vendors on the far end close to the romantic zone have good snacks. Could hike up the mirador if you want an awesome viewvof the city, but I would recommend either in the morning or at sunset because it's a lot of steps and it's hot.
Lots of good restaurants, bars, & breweries in the romantic zone.

I just came back last week. We stayed hotel 15 mins walk from Bucerias. I would recommend trying different street food and walk around the beach front. We took the local green bus to Sayulita for 34 peso one way and it is quite an experience to take the local bus lol we also took the local bus to downtown where the flea market is. We did a outdoor adventure with Vallarta adventure. Strongly recommended. It got me out of my comfort zone
look up the Vallarta center. They got good promotion going on right now. We are gonna stay in Bucerias next time. We tried a restaurant near Karen (a block from it ) and it was delicious. Have a blast !

Fun Things to Do in Bucerias, Mexico in November

Bucerias, a charming coastal town in Mexico's Riviera Nayarit, offers a delightful blend of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and plenty of exciting activities to enjoy during the month of November. Here are some fun things to consider for your visit:

1. Explore the Beaches

November is the perfect time to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful beaches in Bucerias. The warm weather and clear skies make it ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or simply strolling along the golden sands. Don't miss the charming beach town atmosphere and the opportunity to watch stunning sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

2. Attend the Day of the Dead Celebrations

If you're visiting in early November, you'll have the chance to experience the vibrant Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) celebrations. This traditional Mexican holiday honors deceased loved ones with colorful altars, parades, music, and delicious traditional foods like pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and sugar skulls.

3. Try Water Sports

Bucerias is a fantastic destination for water sports enthusiasts. Take advantage of the warm waters and try your hand at activities like snorkeling, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding. You might even spot dolphins or whales during your adventure!

4. Visit the Marietas Islands

A short boat ride from Bucerias will take you to the stunning Marietas Islands, a protected wildlife refuge and national park. This uninhabited archipelago offers incredible snorkeling and diving opportunities, with the chance to explore hidden beaches and the famous "Playa del Amor" (Love Beach) inside a volcanic crater.

5. Explore the Local Markets

Immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the vibrant markets in Bucerias and nearby towns like Sayulita or La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Here, you can find a wide array of artisanal crafts, fresh produce, and delicious street food. Don't miss the chance to try authentic Mexican dishes like tacos, tamales, and elotes (grilled corn on the cob).

No matter what you choose to do, Bucerias promises an unforgettable experience filled with natural beauty, cultural richness, and plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.
