Royals Decameron. We have been there last two years when or daughter was 4 and 5. There is nightly shows. It is beach front. 6 or so pools. Good buffets.
Natalie
Royal Decameron is great, but very large. Same with the Palladium. Lots of stairs there. Food was hit and miss the two times we’ve gone there. RD was consistently good food. For a small resort we love Canto Del Sol in PV. Been there multiple times.

We've done PV all-inclusives MANY times, upgrading every time from our original stay at Decameron. In fall, we stayed at IBEROSTAR in Punta Mita -- it was amazing for children, with a great children's playground, lush green landscapes, pool with a walk-inslope to the adults pool, and children's events through the day. Great shady spots around the pool area. Best part was the turtle release a couple of times in the week where kids got to hold the baby turtles and set them into the ocean. There was a long quiet beach for walks, a restaurant by the beach for food, and in October, it was calm in the water for swimming. Away from the traffic of Puerto Vallarta and the Neuvo Vallarta resort strip and the water was clearer. It was so great for families with kids that we probably won't return...our kids have grown and just left home so we wanted time without children.

Royal Decameron is very good. Great staff, good food, fun activities....

Dreams Villamegna is great for food and on the smaller side. 3 pools. Riu Vallarta has separate large pool for kids and great swim up bar for adults with beach right there. Food at buffet has tons of choices

Thanks everyone. The only one we’ve tried was Fiesta Americana in PV and it was great - only downside was small beach front/sandwiched btw resorts. Anyone been to Fiesta Americana but can recommend a better one in the same price range? Thank you!!
Sandra
I am a travel agent, and if u want great food (not good food but GREAT food) and top shelf liquor, I would recommend Dreams Villamagna. U are welcome to pm me for more info
