I did this exact trip in May. Marrakech is the best! Stayed 5 days and they were full!!! Try to stay near or in the medina for the full experience. I loved Lisbon, lots to do very laid back compared to Barcelona or Madrid. The algarve was nice but if you are going to see the "caves" it's hRd to get to them and you need to stay in Lagos, which is a pain to get to... You also can't stay on the beach and need to hire a boat to take you to the caves. Message me with any questions you have.

Just came back frim Lisbon and Porto. Stayed at Living Lounge in Lisbon and the Gallery Hostel Porto. Both amazing. The architecture was fine. I think south is more built up with golf courses etc with the warmer weather.

I'm going on a trip to Spain, Portugal, Morocco at the end of November and much of December. We'll be there for slightly over 3 weeks. I was just wondering opinions of favourite areas in Portugal and Morroco (we realize we'll just be getting a taste of each country). For Morroco our plan is to visit Marrakesh. Portugal we're undecided whether to visit the Algarves in the south or go up to Lisbon or Porto area. Any travel advice, tips, suggestions, recommendstions to see is greatly appreciated!
