We stayed in Zen Suites in Jersey City - a quick subway ride into Manhattan. Had an amazing view and a kitchenette for a way better price than anything we found in Manhattan.

Which airport would you recommend for Jersey City?...

Probably JFK. We flew into La Guardia and it took about an hour to get there ($50 uber ride)

Also Bella's just off of Times Square was the best Italian food I've ever had, hands down.

Gwen Gwenn Air Canada has non stop and one stop flights into Newark Liberty Airport (from $500 to $600) would be closer to the Apt listed above than flying in to JFK or LaQuardia

We stayed over in Union City in New Jersey. Just a quick trip through the Lincoln Tunnel, easy to get into the city each day. If you don’t mind shared accommodation this was a great Airbnb https://abnb.me/sHccvtrpKK looks like the price has gone down even more since we went.

Make sure to check the reviews some places sound good but reviews show otherwise. We opted to spend a bit more and are staying at The Lucerne when we go

Reasonably Priced Places to Stay in NYC

New York City is one of the most expensive cities in the world to stay in, but there are still plenty of affordable options available if you know where to look. Here are a few tips for finding reasonably priced places to stay in NYC:

  • Stay in a hostel. Hostels are a great way to save money on accommodation, and there are plenty of them located all over NYC. You can expect to pay around $20-30 per night for a bed in a dorm room, or $50-60 per night for a private room.
  • Rent an apartment. If you're staying in NYC for a week or more, renting an apartment can be a more affordable option than staying in a hotel. You can find apartments for rent all over the city, and prices will vary depending on the location and size of the apartment. You can expect to pay around $100-200 per night for a one-bedroom apartment.
  • Use Airbnb. Airbnb is a website that allows you to rent apartments and homes from private individuals. You can find Airbnb listings all over NYC, and prices will vary depending on the location and size of the property. You can expect to pay around $50-100 per night for a private room in an apartment, or $100-200 per night for an entire apartment.

Here are a few specific recommendations for reasonably priced places to stay in NYC:

  • The Jane Hotel. The Jane Hotel is a historic hotel located in the Meatpacking District. It offers affordable rates on both private rooms and dorm rooms, and it's a great option for those who want to be in a central location.
  • The Bowery Hotel. The Bowery Hotel is a trendy hotel located in the East Village. It offers affordable rates on private rooms, and it's a great option for those who want to be in a hip neighborhood.
  • The Ace Hotel. The Ace Hotel is a stylish hotel located in NoMad. It offers affordable rates on private rooms, and it's a great option for those who want to be in a convenient location.

No matter what your budget is, there are plenty of affordable places to stay in NYC. With a little research, you can find the perfect place to stay for your next trip to the Big Apple.
