Huatulco or the area north near Puerto Angel.
Shona
Do you have any contact details?
Jennifer
I am sorry I do not. We stayed at a condo in Puerto Angel and loved it but I am not certain if they do monthly. It is easy to find condos online though and i recommend that area if you want smaller towns, great people and awesome beaches. Worth exploring online.

Bucerias, close to Puerto Vallarta. Try vrbo or airbnb for your rental needs. Isla Mujeres, a short ferry ride from Cancun. Direct flight to Cozumel....
Molnar
I agree Bucerias is awesome, small, cozy, very safe, lots of Canadians, markets, restaurants, great strip of beach, and close to the puerto vallarta airport 20/25 mins top, 4,4/5 h flight from calgary

We are going to Playa Del Carmen and Tulum for the 4th winter and stay for 2 months split between the 2 places. There is a bus (ADO) that is clean and inexpensive & reliable. We have always had success finding our places through Airbnb.

The weather is typically more consistent on the Pacific side farther south. We have stayed in Puerto Escondido for the last four winters. Perfect combination of: authentic small town, enough expats/snowbirds (more Canucks than Americans) to support restaurants, a Chedraui grocery store, and safe. A great fresh market, and you can buy fish off the boats on the beach! Taxis are 25-35 pesos, clean and safe. Lots of airbnb rentals. 90km from Huatulco airport, or if you connect via Mexico City, there is an international airport (just no direct flights from Canada)

I agree with the guy earlier Playa del Carmen or puerto morelos really beautiful areas cheaper good places outside of cancun but close enough you can visit there...
Jennifer
I loved the area north of Huatulco. Safe, lots of Canadians go to Huatulco and the locals are great.

Monthly Apartment/Condo Rentals in Mexico's Beach Towns
Mexico is a paradise for beach lovers, offering countless picturesque coastal towns with a laid-back vibe and easy access to major airports. If you're looking for a monthly rental in one of these charming destinations, you're in for a treat. Here are some top options to consider:
Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta is a popular destination on the Pacific coast, known for its stunning beaches, vibrant art scene, and rich culture. The town offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Mexican charm. Plenty of condos and apartments are available for monthly rentals, especially in the Romantic Zone and the Marina areas.
Playa del Carmen
Situated along the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Playa del Carmen is a lively beach town on the Riviera Maya. With its pedestrian-friendly streets, excellent restaurants, and proximity to major attractions like Tulum and Cozumel, it's an ideal base for exploring the region. You'll find a wide range of monthly rental options, from cozy apartments to luxurious condos.
Sayulita
If you're seeking a more laid-back and bohemian vibe, Sayulita is a charming surf town just north of Puerto Vallarta. This colorful village offers a vibrant art scene, great restaurants, and a relaxed atmosphere. Monthly rentals are available in the town center or along the beachfront, providing easy access to the beach and local amenities.
Huatulco
Huatulco is a hidden gem on the Oaxacan coast, known for its pristine beaches, eco-tourism opportunities, and rich indigenous culture. This resort town offers a quieter alternative to some of the more popular destinations, with plenty of monthly rental options in gated communities or beachfront condos.
No matter which beach town you choose, be sure to book your monthly rental well in advance, especially during peak seasons. You'll also want to consider factors like proximity to amenities, access to transportation, and the overall vibe of the community. With a bit of research, you're sure to find the perfect spot to call home for a month or more in beautiful Mexico.

Good morning, looking for monthly apartment/condo rentals in Mexico. Not attached to any specific location, but smaller beach town and easy travel to a major airport. Any help would be greatly appreciated
