Heading to Kenya for two and a half weeks in February. Anyone know any good, reputable safari companies in Mombasa? Hoping to visit Amboseli National Park.

Don't limit yourself to only looking for a company based in Mombasa. Many tour companies have a main office in Nairobi, and then a satellite office in other high tourist locations.

You're totally right! I'm sadly limited by time. Ideally I'd like to book a safari in Mombasa that ends in Nairobi. It'll save me a travel day and travel funds. I don't see how it makes sense to start in Mombasa, end in Mombasa and have to travel to Nairobi. I've only seen 2 companies willing to do that and neither have responded to me.

Reputable Safari Companies in Mombasa

Planning a safari in Kenya? Mombasa is a great place to start your search for a reputable safari company. Here are a few options to consider:

  • Natural World Safaris
  • Somak Holidays
  • AfricanMecca Safaris
  • Wilderness Explorers
  • Bushbuck Safaris

When choosing a safari company, it's important to do your research and read reviews from previous clients. You'll also want to make sure that the company is registered with the Kenya Tourist Board and that it has a good safety record.

Once you've chosen a safari company, you'll need to decide which park you want to visit. Amboseli National Park is a popular choice for first-time safari-goers, as it's home to a large population of elephants. Other popular parks include Maasai Mara National Reserve, Tsavo National Park, and Lake Nakuru National Park.

Once you've booked your safari, all that's left to do is pack your bags and prepare for an unforgettable experience!
