No pools are open. Going in August. Last time stayed at Market Place which is great with kids. Not sure where this time.
Erin

Carol
We called the Whistler Cascade Lodge and they said pools were closed ten days ago. Just call. Hoping this has changed by August.

Most of the hotel pools have a booking system now with limited time at the pool and hot tub... which is disappointing because we like to hang by the pool and sunbathe. We’ll be heading to Lost Lake instead now during the day
Sonia
thank you, I didn't know about the pool thats disappointing
Jennifer
Sonia yeah we’re going first week of August and inquired at several hotels and they’re all the same.. only 1-1.5 hour slots that you have to book the morning of.. sucks!!
Elisa
I can recommend a few places PM me for more details
Sharron
Blackcomb Springs & Suites. Used to be Coast Hotel. I like location away from noisy village and great pool.
Naz
We stayed at Executive Inn - Mountainside. 3 nights for price of 2 with parking included made it very reasonable. In the village and has a pool you make a booking for.
Naz
But hot tub closed. Probably because can’t distance there.

We just booked...mid range hotels were booked for our dates so booked at Pan Pacific (in the village) outdoor pool is open...only 20 people and 2 hour slots...hotel is at 60 percent capacity...on a side note...the room is completely sterilized and left vacant 24 hours prior to our arrival and 24 hours after we leave
tell them you are local...they will ask for your address and you get 25 percent off!
Sonia

Accommodation Near Whistler Village for Groups
Whistler is a fantastic destination for outdoor adventures and relaxation with friends. The charming pedestrian-only Whistler Village is the heart of the action, with shops, restaurants, and easy access to the mountains. If you're planning a trip with a group of six, here are some accommodation options to consider near the Village:
Vacation Rentals
Renting a vacation home or condo is an excellent choice for groups, as it provides ample space, privacy, and often amenities like a kitchen and laundry facilities. Some popular options near the Village include:
- Glaciers Reach Townhomes: These spacious townhomes can sleep up to 10 people and feature multiple bedrooms, living areas, and a private hot tub. They're located just a short walk from the Village Stroll.
- Deer Lodge: This condominium-style complex offers units with up to 4 bedrooms, and many units have private hot tubs or balconies. It's situated right in the Village, steps from the restaurants and shops.
- Vacation Rental Homes: Various vacation rental platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and others offer a wide range of private homes and condos in and around the Village that can accommodate groups of 6 or more.
Hotels and Resorts
If you prefer the convenience and amenities of a hotel or resort, consider these options near the Village:
- Fairmont Chateau Whistler: This luxurious resort offers suites and multi-bedroom units that can accommodate larger groups. It's located right in the Village and features a spa, multiple dining options, and outdoor heated pools.
- Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites: This all-suite hotel offers spacious units with kitchenettes or full kitchens, perfect for groups. It's just steps from the Village Stroll and features an outdoor heated pool and hot tub.
- Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside: This resort offers various suite configurations, including multi-bedroom units for groups. It's located a short walk from the Village and has an outdoor pool and hot tubs.
No matter which accommodation option you choose, booking well in advance is recommended, especially during peak seasons like August and September. Be sure to check for any group discounts or package deals as well.
