When I was there in May it's was 35$ U.S. cash per person, purchasable at the airport on arrival. Apparently now, it's no cost: http://www.bali.com/visa-indonesia-entry-requirements...

Yes, Canadians do require a visa to enter Bali, Indonesia. The type of visa needed depends on the purpose of your visit and the length of your stay.

Visa options for Canadians visiting Bali:

  • Visa-Free Entry: Canadians can enter Bali without a visa for up to 30 days for tourism purposes. This visa-free entry is not extendable.
  • Visa on Arrival (VoA): If you plan to stay in Bali for more than 30 days, you can apply for a Visa on Arrival at the airport or seaport upon arrival. The VoA allows you to stay for up to 60 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days.
  • Visit Visa: If you intend to stay in Bali for more than 60 days, you can apply for a Visit Visa before your trip at an Indonesian embassy or consulate. The Visit Visa allows you to stay for up to 60 days and can be extended for up to 4 times, each extension for 30 days.

It is important to check the most up-to-date visa requirements and regulations before your trip to ensure a smooth entry into Bali.
