Was there end of November last year and we hit the rainy season. I'd check the exact dates for rainy/ dry season. Also be very careful in kuta beach. Was pick pocketed and robbed there. Met many people who shares the same story afterwords. I wore a cross body purse and it was ripped right off. Just be cautious and don't keep all ur cash, credit cards, passport on you when you go out. Really enjoyed seminyak!

I went in July so not sure about the weather. I love Ubud so maybe you could take a day trip there, the safari zoo was amazing and the monkey forest was a great experience ! We did end up spending a whole day at the safari zoo (lots to see and do), and with the monkey forest you will want to go early in the morning. They have different villages (painting, wood working, jewelry etc) to experience and rice fields and a cool waterfall to explore in Ubud as well.

Bali at the end of last Oct was dry and while I didn't spent more than 5 days there (two weeks in Sumatra, Java and Bali), the group I was with did not experience any problems. We were warned though!

I was in Seminyak and in Ubud in January this year, it was absolutely beautiful weather. The rain was minimal and very tolerable, the thunder was only an issue once when I was surfing. Loved my time there and I will be back.

Was just there in may. Ubud is beautiful and full of culture! I could spend weeks there. Gili Islands are small islands off Bali, which are inexpensive and a lot of fun. And then jimbaran bay is a short cab ride from seminyak for fresh seafood dinner on the beach!
