Where Should I Eat in Los Cabos for My First Time in Mexico?

Dessert. Lots of sand. If you're in to ATV and camel rides bring appropriate clothes for it, (rashguards) or else prepare to be covered with sand. Some parts of the beaches are unswimmable because of the high waves. But they marked the designated swim spots with lifeguards. Otherwise it's a swim at your own risk. Heard it's a surfers paradise tho.
If you're planning to buy souvenirs and liquor go to Walmart. They are 3x cheaper than the airport even if it's tax free.

Agreed!

We've been 5x to Cabo. It's like the desert with an ocean. Most of the hotels, you can't swim in front of because of the strong under tow. But, you can swim at Lovers Beach.
If you like tacos, you must go to Los Claros! So good and so cheap!
Cabo Wabo is a must for happy hour!
Take a glass bottom boat ride to Lovers Beach. $10 bucks
Don't go into town when the cruise ships are in, because they raise the price on everything in town.
If you like atv-ing, it's like no other in Cabo! Simply amazing!

Gardenias have the best tacos in Cabo. We have a place in Cabo & for years this place has been on the best taco radar.
And conveniently very close to our place.
Maud
Terry love gardenias!
Sarah
The Riu is amazing!

Been to Cabo 12 times.. Medano beach is one of the few swim able beaches..try the sand bar restaurant on Medano.. La cantina restaurant , just up from Medano is amazing and the cheapest of the Medano beach restaurants..check trip advisor for more restaurants
Terry
At Medano beach if you buy a beer you can sit in the lounge chairs offered along the way. This area can be quite loud but very entertaining. There’s a section that is ‘roped’ off for swimmers.
Pacific side is a huge NO for swimming. Very dangerous. Even to wade in that area can be dangerous.
Marina Sol has a great place for burgers. Beer is cheap
Maud
Terry we stay at Marina Sol all the time.... love it there
Terry
Maud we stay at marina Sol cuz we own a place there. Lolololol but the burgers really are great ther3.
Maud
Terry do you rent your place there? We rented 5 condos their for last week in April! Family trip lol
Terry
Maud yes we do. What date do you arrive? I might be there.
Maud
Terry we arrive April 22... we rented from Rick... we have for about 10 years...

If it's not too late drive the three hours north to La Paz will have fantastic beaches good food cheaper accommodation
Terry
I recommend this drive. Renting a car is very cheap in Cabo. The drive is easy and quite comfortable. Great little towns along the way for a beer & a bite.
Natalie
We did this drive as well, was the highlight of our trip.. El Tecolote and Balandra beaches were incredible! Stop in Todos Santos along the way

It depends on if you’re going to stay in San Lucas or in San Jose. In San Jose: Playa Palmilla is the absolute best beach around. Swimming, snorkelling, SUP. Playa El Ganzo (in the little beach town of Playita) very calm for swimming and dog friendly. T’s beach bar in Playita has the best margaritas around. Shooters bar in San Jose is a great rooftop bar just off the plaza. Thursday Art Walk in the historic district (plaza and surrounding streets). Great eats at: El Chino taco, Guacamayas, Hangman’s, Habaneros, La Vaca Tinta and many more. San Jose is a real great foodie town.
