we spent one month in Thailand

Two weeks isn't very long. Maybe a couple of days in Bangkok then fly to Chiang Mai for 6 days and then fly to Krabe and go to an island like Koh Lanta. So much to see and do. I wouldn't waste time travelling to other countries. Visa for Vietnam and Cambodia is required but you can now get them online. Thailand is easy with Visa on Arrival and no charge.

This was my trip for 3 weeks and it still wasn’t enough! Stick to Thailand. I’ll be going back to the other countries to explore them on their own.
Mulberry
You would be spending too much time getting from one country to another. Just enjoy Thailand as there is a lot to explore from the North in Chiang Mai to Bangkok and the southern areas and beaches like Krabi or Phuket.

If you had another week yes but enjoy the 2 weeks exploring Thailand

Two weeks isnt enough to country hop Charizza!! I'd stick to Thailand for now then go visit the other places another time! I did 2 weeks in Vietnam over an xmas break when we were in school and it wasnt enough time to see everything i wanted to see.

We are also going same time of the year, let's connect for a drink! With air travel/time change you actually only get 12 days. We will be in Bangkok for 2 days Chiang Mai for 3 then play it by ear...I understand it's the monsoon season on the West side of Thailand..Krabi, Phuket, Ko Lanta..so we probably would head East for better weather..Ko Samui, Ko Tao, Ko Phangan "Full moon party, May 30th" Not sure if we'll attend..looks nuts on YouTube.

In 2 weeks you’ll run yourself ragged going to more countries- stick to Thailand. If you don’t mind lots of travel add Siem Reap in Cambodia for 2-3 nights to visit Angkor Wat

Last year we went on a 5 week holiday. We spent one week in Bangkok, one week in Chiangmai, one week in Siem Reap (Cambodia), one week in Ubud (Bali) and one week in Nua Dusa (Bali). It as very busy although I don't regret any of it. Loved every place we went but we didn't see everything we wanted to see. Will definitely need to go back but that may not be a bad thing. There is lots to do in Thailand. Probably best to spend the whole month there. Have fun.

Def stick to Thailand! We were there for 2.5 weeks and there's so much to see. Where you go depends on how many days you want dedicate to actual travel/ moving around. We visited Bangkok (touristy but cool), Phuket (touristy but cool), Phuket Town (oops lol), Koh Phi Phi (party island) & Koh Lanta (gorgeous, old style of life). If you're into the party scene, you'll want to hit Koh Phangan for a full moon party.

Stay in Thailand no time for other areas
Randy
I have plans to go there too. I haven't made my plans or set any dates
Vicki
I'm currently in Krabi (at the krabi resort on Ao Nang beach). Lots to do & see here. I'd say 2 weeks isn't long enough to travel to both the other countries. But if I had a choice I'd visit Thailand and Vietnam.
Charizza
Would you recommend krabi?
Vicki
Absolutely

Just got back from Cam. and Vietnam Dec/2017 for a month and I’d say you’ll never have time for both..stick to Thailand

Thailand, Vietnam, or Cambodia: A Trip of a Lifetime
You're planning a trip to Southeast Asia with your friends, and you're wondering whether to stick to Thailand for the full two weeks or to explore Vietnam or Cambodia as well. Here's a breakdown of each country to help you make your decision:
Thailand
- Pros: Thailand is a popular tourist destination for a reason. It has beautiful beaches, lush jungles, ancient ruins, and a vibrant culture. There's something for everyone in Thailand, from backpackers to luxury travelers.
- Cons: Thailand can be crowded, especially during the peak tourist season. It can also be expensive compared to other countries in Southeast Asia.
Vietnam
- Pros: Vietnam is a beautiful and diverse country with a rich history and culture. It has stunning landscapes, from the rice paddies of the Mekong Delta to the beaches of Nha Trang. Vietnam is also relatively affordable compared to other countries in Southeast Asia.
- Cons: Vietnam can be a bit more challenging to travel around than Thailand, as the infrastructure is not as developed. It can also be difficult to communicate with locals, as English is not widely spoken.
Cambodia
- Pros: Cambodia is a fascinating country with a unique culture and history. It is home to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia. Cambodia is also relatively affordable compared to other countries in Southeast Asia.
- Cons: Cambodia can be a bit more difficult to travel around than Thailand or Vietnam, as the infrastructure is not as developed. It can also be difficult to communicate with locals, as English is not widely spoken.
So, which country should you choose?
Ultimately, the best way to decide which country to visit is to consider your own interests and travel style. If you're looking for a beach vacation with plenty of opportunities for relaxation, then Thailand is a good choice. If you're interested in exploring a country with a rich history and culture, then Vietnam or Cambodia might be a better option. And if you're on a budget, then Cambodia or Vietnam are both more affordable than Thailand.
No matter which country you choose, you're sure to have an amazing time. Southeast Asia is a beautiful and diverse region with something to offer everyone.
