Which Bahamas Resort is Best for Couples: Atlantis or RIU?

Question:

Hi guys. So looking to go to Bahamas in October (we have alloted enough time if we need to quarantine etc). My question is which resort. It’s just me and hubby. Atlantis has everything, not all inclusive. RIU has less entertainment but all inclusive. We are looking for good food, drinks, good service and some fun!! I’m a beach bum but my husband needs things to do. Anyone been to Bahamas. Which island and what do you recommend?

Choosing the Best Resort in the Bahamas

Planning a trip to the Bahamas in October? That's a great idea! With the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters, it's the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. But with so many resorts to choose from, it can be tough to decide which one is right for you. Let's take a look at two popular options: Atlantis and RIU.

Atlantis

Atlantis is known for its luxurious accommodations and endless amenities. While it's not all-inclusive, the resort offers a wide range of dining options, from casual beachside eateries to fine dining restaurants. The service at Atlantis is top-notch, and there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, including water parks, marine habitats, and a casino. If you're a beach bum, you'll love the pristine white sand beaches at Atlantis.

RIU

RIU, on the other hand, is an all-inclusive resort that offers a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. While it may have less entertainment options compared to Atlantis, RIU is known for its delicious food, unlimited drinks, and friendly service. If you're looking for a worry-free vacation where everything is taken care of, RIU might be the perfect choice for you.

Which Island to Choose?

When it comes to choosing the best island in the Bahamas, it really depends on what you're looking for. Nassau, where Atlantis is located, is a bustling hub with plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife options. If you prefer a more laid-back vibe, you might want to consider staying on Paradise Island, home to RIU.

Recommendations

Having been to the Bahamas, I would recommend Paradise Island for a more relaxed and all-inclusive experience. RIU offers great food, drinks, and service, and you can always take a short trip to Nassau if you're looking for more activities. But if you're looking for a luxurious and action-packed vacation, Atlantis on Nassau might be the better choice for you and your husband.

Ultimately, the decision comes down to your personal preferences and what you're looking to get out of your vacation. Whichever resort you choose, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time in the Bahamas!
