Depends on what your interests are - history? nature? local culture? partying? or a lazy vacation?
Any guide book can tell you what's famous in those cities/islands - all descriptions AFAIK are accurate. feel free to pick and choose.
Since it is half a globe away and it's your first time, you should at least hit all the spots those places are world-famous for: e.g. the Acropolis in Athens, Oia in Santorini, etc...

Following for dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is beautiful! It's super expensive so if your going on a budget trip booking an air bnb with a kitchen is a good way to go, we stayed in a really awesome air bnb with an outdoor kitchen (if you want the name, let me know!)
Dubrovnik has a fortified city with amazing castle walls that you can walk along top of for a beautiful view but they close at a certain time (I think 6pm) and you have to pay to go up them, also using uber instead of taxis is a good way to save, and uber is really popular there too
Hopefully some of this helps!

2 days is enough time for Athens!

I guess for museum and history nerds, Athens deserves at least a week!
